We stayed for four nights in this hotel. The rooms were fine but not wonderful. The bathrooms small. We were lucky as we had double doors that opened out to a small balcony. Breakfast was served on the first floor with an excellent choice. There is a rather strange glass floor which is not very pleasant to walk upon that... More

My husband and I spent three nights in this comfortable and lovely hotel, which is in a renovated convent, located in a quiet piazza. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to check in three hours early, which was nice. There were a lot of sitting areas throughout the hotel, including a lounge on the main... We stayed in the suite and enjoyed it immensely. We were first greeted by Marco who was a delight followed by Marsala wine waiting in our room. The lobby and bar are grand and inviting. Tina at the bar was friendly and helpful. Be mindful of gypsy types trying to collect fees in the nearby free parking lot. We loved... More

For reasons I cannot explain Hotel Carmine is listed as a 3-Star Hotel. It should be rated higher. It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with lovely accommodations. It used to be an monastery so it is beautiful inside. The breakfast is delicious and quite a feast. It is centrally located. It is a truly... More

I heartily recommend the Hotel Carmine. We stayed for two nights in mid-September and had a lovely time there. The staff was welcoming upon our arrival. Particular thanks to Tina, who assisted us with dinner suggestions, and Marco, who called ahead to our next destination. The hotel itself is quietly beautiful and elegant. Each morning's breakfast was bountiful with many... More

Restaured 16th century monastery. Helpfull, wonderful staff, great location. Parking free & is a bit tricky but staff really helps out. Excellent renovation that kept the charm & character of the monastery, with elevator. Very good breakfast spread, easy walking to every where. Many beaches to around by car.

Old 14th Century Monastery located in a square right near the main thorough fare in town. Awesome breakfasts included and good rates. 30 second walk to shops restaurants, etc. Great value for such a nice place. Note rooms are very small since its an old monastery that has been renovated. Only street parking is available, but was never an issue... More

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour of western Sicily. We had Room 30 which I believe is one of the best in the hotel. It was truly stunning and huge! There are many details of the original monastery left there such as the tiling and windows. Found a wine bar around the corner where the wine... More

Well located in Marsala old city, overlooking a quiet Square. The hotel is stylish and elegant with an attractive breakfast garden. Rooms are en suite, with air conditioning and nicely decorated. Pleasant stay after a poor start - 1st night the a/c kept cutting out and needing a re-set by reception. Rooms at the back are quieter than those overlooking... More
