Having stayed at Versilia Palace Hotel already two times, we enjoyed our third holiday again very much. The kitchen is very good, especially the Antipasti Buffet is outstanding. Great variety, nice seafood and fish. We had a triple Deluxe Sea View room (refurbished) with a large terrace (furnished). Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Carlo and Fabio in the restaurant- thank you so much again, great service. Having stayed there in the high season, I would recommend to book the beach service already with the room. They have partner beaches which can be booked through the hotel with a discount. We have been to bagno Patrizia, which I can recommend. It has a nice restaurant with simple but lovely food. We will return for sure!
Versilia Palace is a very nice hotel located in Marina di Pietrsanta just in front of the beach, five minutes by car to glamourus Forte dei Marmi or better you can enjoy a ten minutes biking along the cost to reach it. There is a beautiful flat bike track just in front of the hotel, going from Viareggio to Massa Carrara, about 40 Km and Versila Palace is just in the middle of it. Staff is so Kind, and everything in the building is very clean and lovely like the garden and the pool. You can also play tennis, pingpong and rent a bike at the hotel. Big private parking is available Last but not leat food is very high quality What should I say more ...I hope to come back soon!
We spent few days in this hotel during our holidays in Italy. Nice location as the hotel is really close to the sea. The room was ok with a nice view on the sea. One of the best features of the hotel is the swimming pool while the breakfast was not really impressive. The staff was kind and polite. The offer is correct for the price requested
Good location, directly across from the beach. Parking on site which was excellent. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful, upon check in were immediately upgraded to an ocean view room with balcony which we really enjoyed as ate our lunch out there on the first day. Staff also very helpful when asking advice for day trips, mode of transportation etc., this was very much appreciated as not easy to find parking in areas like Pisa or other areas. Buffet breakfast met our needs with a range of hot foods as well as toast and cereals and other more european items. Rooms were quite small but clean and modern and we did not have any concerns about noise. Overall found this a very nice location.
We spent a week in this lovely hotel, using the beach club facilities opposite The hotel has a good size clean swimming pool, with a separate children’s pool and play area, plenty of space in the grounds. We noticed how friendly and helpful the staff were straight from check in Our delux room was very clean and very well serviced. Again we were well looked after at breakfast, good variety, continental style. A number of good restaurants locally well priced, great pasta, try ristorante da Carolina Hotel has bikes for hire
Reviews were over rated. I expected this hotel to be much nicer and bigger. But nevertheless the location is v good across from the beaches. It was clean and service good. Breakfast buffet is v nice also has everything. But I would say beds and pillows not very comfortable for a 4 star hotel.
This hotel in the west coast is typical of Italian hotels! Upgrading the rooms , reasonable food , good parking and within bicycle distance of Forte Di Marmi ! That’s where the Bella Vita is ! This hotel is in front of the sea with a pool and good staff ! Try it , it’s worth the money !
Lovely place to relax and have a quite stay before the summer crowds. High quality cuisine for half board and service - exceptional throughout. Great location for driving round Tuscany's many tourist attractions and returning to quiet seaside spot
The hotel was clean and comfortable, had friendly staff, a great breakfast by Italian standards, and on site parking. Our room was excellent with 2 good size balconies. The pool is a good size and well maintained (along with the gardens) although be aware that they insist on all guests wearing swimming caps! You have to rent sun beds/umbrella from one of the many beach clubs/bars to use the beach, and prices start from 25 Euro per day for 2 people. So so if you're a pool person stay here, but if your on a budget and prefer the beach (the main reason to visit the area) then perhaps find somewhere more basic and invest the savings in renting sun beds/umbrella to enjoy the beach.
I do not recommend this hotel!!! We booked High standard room with a balcony. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the trash. Additionally to this in a nearby amphitheater (from the side of our room) every day until the late hours of the night were very loud concerts Hotel management did not informed us of this fact before, and they did'n want to change the room! So, we paid a lot of money for the small room with balcony we could not use and dubious quality disco over the nights.
