Despite stressing the importance of air-con to both the tour company,Preferred Travel, and to the hotel itself prior to our trip, the air-con either wasn't working or was grossly inadequate. Our room temperature rarely got below 26C and even touched 29C so we couldn't get a decent night`s sleep. I suspected that the cooling system to the air-con system wasn`t... More

Stayed here for a week with the England kickboxing team attending World Championships in Tuscany. The hotel was full, off season but they ensured a really good experience . Clean, spacious, well furnished rooms, good, plentiful food on half board and excellent service by friendly, helpful staff. Not 5 star luxury but extremely good value for money. Highly recommended .... More

Hotel Joseph is a typical 3 star Italian hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself and pool area and sun terrace were very clean and tidy. There were always sun beds available. The rooftop pool is lovely but unfortunately is not heated. Our room was a big letdown. It was supposedly a double room but... More

As part of a travel package, and I paid extra for a single room, I was given a double room on the 4th floor in the rear annex building (also called the red building). Altough, the main building takes up a good portion of the view one can still see the ocean on each side. However, many rooms do not... More

Medium sized hotel with good facilities and helpful staff who are keen to please their customers. It became clear that room sizes varied - our's was large with large bed, settee and large bathroom. Some of the equipment in the room didn't work and there was no fridge - although it looked as if there had been at some time

A modern, clean hotel with a lovely pool and rooftop terrace. Staff were all very friendly and efficient, and the food was very good - too good for my waistline! It is in a good area facings the sea, and not too far to walk to the pier and shops. Also, there is a good bus service to the neighbouring... More

Stayed here in September with Preferred Travel Services. On check-in, were advised that we would have to change rooms after 3 nights but this worked in our favour. Initially we had a very spacious room at the back of the hotel facing the mountains and the rest of our stay we enjoyed a modern well-equipped room (with fridge, microwave) with... More

We were there on June, room clean and comfortable, we enjoyed with the pool. They have also the bike rentals and are quite new. Breakfast good. I think also lunch and dinner were good as a lot of people ate at the restaurant. We will return there next year.

This hotel was used by Preferred Travel Services for their tour of Tuscany. The food was outstanding with plenty of choice in the evening. There was ample breakfast but as is general in Italy, choice was limited to cereals and bread with a very original "cook your own boiled egg" offer. Rooms were basic but twin rooms have balconies. If... More
