We as a family with two kids in the age of 5 and 3 stayed a full week in this very nice *** hotel during our after summer holidays. This hotel has fullfilled all of our expectations: clean and nice familiy room_check; super friendly and adorable stuff_check; super child friendly atmosphere_check; nice food_check; walking distance to the beach ... 5 min as family _check; perfect located for day trips to discover more or less the whole Tuscany_check; Many thanx for making our family days to ^real^ holidays...CU next time.
Nice hotel a couple of blocks from the beach on a quiet side street. Stayed seven nights here in May 2010 as a base for touring the surrounding area including Pisa and Florence. My room 120 was a nice twin room which appeared to be newly renovated, tiled floor, LCD TV with one English station, desk, fridge, air conditioning, large wardrobe, wifi access at a charge of 2 euro an hour, but worked well. A lot of Italian hotels and other buildings have shutters on windows which this one did but this one was electric and just outside the window was a washing line so you can contribute to the colourful appearance of many Italian buildings. While the room was a good size, the bathroom which was beautifully finished was tiny, I mean really tiny with a very tiny shower. They bathroom had a vanity, wc, shower and bidet and just isn’t big enough for all four. A constant problem in the shower was that every time you turned you would knock the mixer handle and change the water flow and temperature. The hotel is four or five stories high and on the roof if a small swimming pool with great views to the sea a couple of blocks away and surrounding residential areas, also on the roof is a bar and seating area which was pretty much deserted when I was there but I can only imagine is a very popular spot in summer. Breakfast was nice but the times seem to be dictated by the coach groups which seemed to dominate when I was there as sometimes when I came down at the indicated start time I found the place to be packed with other guests who were finished and about to leave on their coach and while this wasn’t a problem if I had known that it started a half an hour earlier or whenever I could have started my day a bit earlier. The food was good and plentiful. The hotel has a small parking lot which was often full but there was plenty of street parking right outside the hotel and getting a space any time of day during my stay wasn’t a problem. The staff were very nice and helpful during my stay.…
