We stayed for 3 nights with very good breakfast, good service and nice clean rooms. Close to the beach, only like a 100m. The only thing we wasn't so happy about was the internet connection. It was laging a lot and was very slow during peak hours.

The Hotel Tirreno was one of the nicest places we've stayed in Europe. We stayed three nights and found the staff to be very accommodating, and they spoke English (which was rare along the coast in the predominately Italian vacation areas). It's a beautiful Mansion across the street from the sandy beach and for 15 Euros you can rent a...

Dear Holly, is a great pleasure to read that our Hotel and its staff have fully satisfied your expectations. The professionalism of our employees, our good location and an excellent "value for money", are our strengths. The spirit we try to convey to our Guests is to make them feel a bit "at home", welcoming them in a familiar environment,...

Hotel Tirreno is a really great place to stay, very contemporary. Its in fabulous condition inside and the rooms are in very good condition and spotlessly clean. It has an integrated IT, A/C system that surprised me for such a small hotel...it actually switched off the A/C when I opened the window. The staff are very nice. English is spoken...

We recently spent 10 days at the Hotel Tirreno and we had a great time, hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are amongst the most helpfull we have ever met, even dealing with a hire car incident for us, brilliant. The hotel is about 50m from a stunning beach with safe swimming and there are loads of nice restaurants...

I stayed at the Tirreno as I was visiting the Carrara Fair and had a pleasant staying. Rooms are quite small but perfectly proportioned, the bathroom.... not very satisfying, spare and ... beware 'cause you can really hear EVERY single noise from the one next door, don't know about others but in our room it had a single shared-window, indeed...

Stayed here out of season in November. Right on the beach, we had a sea view room with spectacular sunset each night. Very friendly welcome. Clean good size room and bathroom with shower only. Good breakfast each morning and a 10% discount offered in some local restaurants each night. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is about 50m from the beach as stated. The beach is typical Italian style - you have to pay the daily rent of the umbrella, chairs (around 15eur/day). The sand is darker style, not the carribean white one. Just ok for the kids I would say, not much otherwise (no boat or scooter rental or anything like that nearby),...

We stayed here for one night just to lay on the beach and travel further the next day. It turned out to be that if you wanted to stay on the beach, you have to have a reservation (what we obviously didn't have). The hotel couldn't do anything for us and said it was normal, so our beachtrip was blewn.......

After having spent three nights in the western part of Liguria, we decided to try the eastern side of Genoa, and ended up in Marina Di Massa more or less by accident. A quick search on TripAdvisor gave as a number of options, where Hotel Tirreno attracted us most thanks to the nice design, affordable price and closeness to the...
