Except for the really tiny shower, everything in the hotel was really good. The place is very close to Mestre's train station, breakfast is fulfilling, the rooms are very clean and the owner is a very nice person.

We stayed at this hotel during our stay in Venezia this September. It's a Family hotel. Carla, the owner, is very friendly. She assisted us a lot to know how to get to Venice square. Bus and train stations are 3 minutes away from the Hotel. Parking lot available on a first come first serve basis. Breakfast is poor but... More

Venice is amazing, astonishing, somehow unique! But where to find a good location for tourist and travellers? something close to the sea, the channels, and the works of art, but at the same time comfortable and not too expensive? Hotel Martello is perfect for that because it is in Marghera, very close to Venezia Mestre station and only 5 min... More

The hotel is at a great location near the Mestre Train Station. Also, the old lady at the hotel was the nicest person we've ever met and she was really helpful and offered a lot of info about Venice. The breakfast was decent (breads, croissants and coffee/tea/juice). The hotel was very tidy and the rooms were quite big. My only... More

This hotel is a two-star hotel. I have read some bad comments, but you should not expect a five-star service in a two-star hotel! the region is very quiet and looked safe. Supermarket not very far away. Venice is 15 minutes by bus, that stops 2 blocks from the hotel. The owners are nice people. you can buy bus ticket... More

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station. We wanted a hotel that offered easy access to the main attractions in Venice but was also close to the train station as we were getting a morning train to Verona. We notified the hotel in advance we would be arriving late and this was not a problem.... More

The owners, Carla and Carlo, were very nice and helpful. The room was tiny. Had a hard time in the shower as tile was very slippery and I was afraid of failing (Had a hip replacement), Shower mat or safety strips recommended. It was clean and tidy. Carla was so sweet to call me that breakfast was done and was... More

Found this hotel and the lady who runs it very welcoming. She was especially helpful and provided really useful information when we first arrived in Venice! The location is close to the train station so it is easy to get to Venice from the mainland. The rooms were clean and well air-conditioned. Overall a really good experience :)

I had one night in Venice, so I didn't want to spend the arm & leg that others charge for staying out in the middle of Venice. Instead I found this little hotel, a quick 10-15min walk from the train station. It's the same train station that will take you to the heart of Venice. It's in a quiet residential... More

Yes, it isn't in the old city, but it's a 12 minute train there. The hotel is really cheap, the staff is friendly and the air conditioning works really well. The air inside the hotel was really moist though, so our clothes didn't dry. If you're on a budget (and the train to the old city is free with the... More
