We're in a tour. After exploring Venice, spent the night here was really relaxing. Nice place and variant of breakfast meal are really a good-mood- booster for me to continue the itenerary. and also, the well-inform crew of the hotel. Thanks Holiday Inn..
Have arrived around 3am in the morning ona freezing December day. Since my husband is an Ambassedor member of the hotel group, gentleman on the front desk has helped us to make an early check-in for the next day. Hotel is out of city, on an high way though didn't take long to reach to the heart of city as we had our car. While checking out the next day, lady on the front desk, tried to charge us for an extra day. When my husband has explained her the situation she kept acting unprofessional but gave us the invoice which was already printed out in her file and was for 1 night as we dealed while check in. Din't understand the way she has acted and still can not but she has simply killed the experience. Pity for IHG hotel group!
Avoid at all cost. Rude and selfish staff. Food in restaurant is really bad and not worth money. I was served pizza with olives that are not pitted and covered with cheese. Causing big dental damage and broken front teeth. Staff were ignorant and replied - in Italy olives born with bone inside and it is normal to serve it like that without any awareness to customers. I even had to pay for that pizza... In UK this hotel would be sued and closed down. had huge lost because of this hotel. Just disgusting
Popular with large coach parties. The bar and restaurant ladies are very helpful. The Holiday Inn is an exact replica of the brand type hotels found all around, nothing out of the ordinary, no quirky features. Watch out for insect bites across this whole area. Rooms have very thin walls, not much sound proofing
Decided to book this HGI for a night as I was arriving very late to Venice. It is conveniently located for one of the airport busses that has its stop just front of the hotel. Don't expect any preference for being a Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond member. The room was ok but AC was not properly working. Had to open window and listen to the traffic. Lights were broken as they went on/off that made sleeping difficult. Housekeeping walked to the room in the morning despite Do Not Disturb-sign hanging outside. Manager was not available at the time of checking out. Opened a case with Hilton's Guest Assistance.
