Some issues regarding the electricity hook up (the one we paid for didn't work) but we used a neighbouring hook up and was told there wouldn't be anyone on that pitch...but there was, sorted in the end. Toilets/showers were easily accessible and clean. No local shops for groceries etc had to drive to local supermarket. Saturday and Sunday there was... More

We stayed at the hop farm after deciding on a last minute get away with friends. Good friendly site, with free pitches. We were able to secure a large enough plot for five big tents. There were washing/showering facilities which were kept reasonably well, but after the extremely wet weather they did get a little smelly on Sunday. We stayed... More

Get stay at hop farm we recived a very friendly welcome on arrival. Hard standing pitches had electric hook ups and water points for our camper van. The shower and toilet blocks were fine plenty of hot water. Lots of space for dog walks. Local shops and services were a ten minute walk or two minute bus ride. The bus... More

Just stayed for the weekend, on arrival they had no record of our booking, even though we had paid in full, in advance, then they found our paperwork and said "oh, must have missed this". Fortunately (or not) they did have space for us, on a sort of mini roundabout, or island of grass, which, as it turns out was... More

My partner and I stayed here in October 2015 with our 2 year old son, 7 year old daughter, our friends and their 3 year old daughter. As we were with our friends and it was a family holiday, we made the most of our time away but the site really wasn't good. As there had been heavy rains the... More

We stayed here for 5 nights over the bank holiday weekend and had a fantastic time. The recent reviews seem a little unfair and certainly did not reflect our experience of the hop farm campsite. We arrived on the Wednesday and loved the laid back attitude of the receptionist "pitch where you like". The main field was huge and we... More

Hi We had 1 night here prior to our tunnel crossing over to France on the 30th August 2015. I have never been to such a place in my life and would never return there. There seems to me no organization of pitches? they seem a bit willy nilly. The reception/shop was dated and scruffy. the statics situated right by... More

The entire trip was awful, even the entrance road is not clearly sign posted or finished everything just needs money spending on it and properly maintained and managed! The price is majorly expensive for the quality of the campsite. There Is no organisation it's park up where you want which for fire regulations I feel really unsafe. The toilet Block... More
