We stayed in this 3-star hotel for 2 weeks in September and I must say that it was a pleasant experience: CLEAN, basic and functional room. The bed was comfortable and the linen was changed often. The room we used (111) was equipped with air conditioning, a small balcony with a table and chairs + a small drying rack where you could hang out any costumes and bath towels. The girls at the reception were very helpful and courteous as were the breakfast and cleaning staff. The breakfast was varied with wide availability of choice and well set out. The hotel is located less than a minute's walk from Maiori beach and 5 minutes from the port where you can embark to visit the various towns along the coast (I strongly advise against using the car and instead recommend only traveling via ferry). Near the hotel there are various places where you can eat (I recommend the Acquachiara take away as well as the Tony's restaurant and the Oasi pastry shop right next to the hotel where they make exceptional croissants!!!), 2 self-service laundry locations , ATM point, pharmacy and small supermarket. The hotel also offers the availability of a garage a few meters away subject to availability of spaces (which is essential if you arrive by car as private car parks or those in the blue lines are expensive and often difficult to find due to the huge influx of tourists).
The quality/price ratio for this hotel is definitely excellent.

A fabulous family run hotel in the heart of wonderful Maiori. The hotel is great value. Less than 5 mins walk from the promenade and the main pedestrian street. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable. The ladies who run and I assume own the hotel are always on hand with any advice on local buses, ferries and anything else you may need during your stay. This place is a great location to explore the Amalfi Coast. with buses and ferries to most places you may wish to visit.
Anytime I come back to the Amalfi Coast. The Hotel De Rosa will be my first choice.

We have rarely found more kind and helpful staff. They were all truly exquisite, the room was spotless and very spacious. Don't be fooled by the external appearance (a slightly dated structure) because inside you can see a recent renovation which makes the rooms comfortable. Excellent breakfast, try the cakes (delicious). The location is also enviable and the availability of parking is precious (not a given on the Amalfi coast).

The hotel is family run. It is 150 meters from the sea and centrally located.

Breakfast was for me the strong point: Tarts, chocolate and carrot cakes, biscuits and cakes all fresh and pastry. The delicious cappuccino made with fresh milk and not freeze dried. Always available peeled fruit such as oranges, pineapple and yellow melon. Yoghurt, jam, butter, tea, coffee and toast. There is also a small savoury breakfast always very good. Very clean and recently renovated.

For a really nice 3-star hotel, the reception is still a little dated but the rooms and breakfast room are very nice. Hotel in a strategic position close to all the beaches, the seafront and the supermarkets in the area. Spacious and bright room, very clean and organised. The only flaw if I really have to find something lacking: there is no shelf in the bathroom and there were no hangers in the wardrobe. The 2 owners are very nice and always available. The top cleaning ladies, always smelling clean in the room and on the stairs.

Our first time in Costiera Amalfitana. Everything was perfect. Hotel De rosa was outstanding! and we appreciated the warm and polite. wellcoming. In the heart of the awe Maiori High quality and right price. We were treated with respect and a lot of attention, our room was constantly tidy and clean. We loved the kindness of the staff and our holydays were wonderful thanks to them too. we will definetly be back!

This is our 2nd stay at the hotel De Rosa in maiori, italy and the score is 2 for 2. It is a family operation and everyone makes you feel at home. The family is very hospitable and especially
the sisters are impeccable. Maiori is also a place to stay, the beach, the panorama, the restaurants, the locals ( residents), the side walk by the beach , the breeze on the evening etc,etc. The first time we visited the amalfi coast, we stayed in Positano,since then we fall in love with Maiori and the De Rosa family is the icing on the cake or we fall in love with the De Rosa family and Maiori is the icing on cake. Anyway we had a great time.

In October, 2012 (not 2014), the B&B that we had reserved in advance of our arrival in Maiori didn't work out. Since it already was afternoon, we quickly needed to find another place to stay. We stumbled upon Albergo De Rosa, a fantastic B&B off of the main thoroughfares. The room, including the bathroom, was immaculate and very modern. The location is very convenient, near the beach and a small market, and the price was very reasonable. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Last, but not least, the owner and her daughter are pleasant and very helpful.
