Very basic. Small kitchen with a non working hood and sticky cutlery. Impossible to take a shower without wetting the whole bathroom, one small towel each and a clogged drain.. We booked an appartment for 4 adults, they offered one bed with a crappy matras and a sleeping sofa. Good thing I like metal springs poking me all night! To top this of we had to share the room with a million ants! For this price I would say.. avoid

Such a modern, tastefully designed, spacious apartment on the Amalfi Coast. Our suite had plenty of room for our family of four. Great views. We loved the very large balcony, the views, the cats, the beautiful dome ceilings & that the bathroom was large and two separate rooms (one with toilet and sink, one with shower and sink). Staff at Regina Palace Hotel (where you check in) was great. Great storage - plenty of room for the 14 days worth of clothes, luggage we brought from America). Maiori is such a great location. Has grocery stores, a great boardwalk, playgrounds & the best beaches on the entire coast. We also loved the hidden beach on site at the apartment and we were often the only people there. It is a secluded pebble beach with two caves. You can pay to rent chairs during the day but at night no one is there so we just used them for free. The parking is a little inconvenient, but that is to be expected on the Amalfi Coast where there are generally no parking spots. Parking in Positano was 1000 times worse, so I think it gets worse as you go further down the coast. Such a great apartment with full kitchen. Highly recommend!

I spent six very relaxing nights at the Dolce Vita residence, and really can't recommend highly enough. The apartments are modern and well maintained, it's in a very peaceful location just outside Maiori and if you're looking for somewhere that offers some independence and tranquility but a short walk from bars restaurants shops and what not then the Dolce Vita is for you. Things to know: 1 the rooms aren't cleaned daily but will be pristine when you arrive with enough towels etc for your stay. 2. it is a short walk (5-10 minutes) from Maiori to the residence, and largely uphill but is easily doable, at night one small section of the road is quite dark but I wouldn't let that put you off 3. the kitchen area is small but the stove and fridge are pristine and there are enough utensils and crockery for you to look after yourself quite easily comma tip take a corkscrew though that's the one thing that was missing! 4. there isn't a reception desk on site so I think for the most part check-in has to be done at the Regina Palace hotel in Maiori; if you're arriving by car I'd recommend popping in there or at least contacting the residence before you travel to make sure that you are in the right place (you wouldn't want to have to walk with your cases and back especially if it was either bad weather or very warm and sunny.) Once you have your key card be aware that the system has changed and you don't have to put the key in the actual door or press the handle but just swipe it over the pads next to the door illuminate green once the doors open and you can then push them, there seemed to be quite a lot of confusion about how to open doors while I was staying! All in all, I loved my time at the Dolce Vita, and I'm already already wondering when I might be able to get back!

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. We had a balcony looking out to sea. Very clean and great size for us. Only problem was no parking and you had to Check in at the Regina Hotel in town but not a big issue. For 12 euro a day Mr Aldo parks your car securely and it is avaliable within 15 mi s notice. Maori is a lovely little town with some great restaurants. I would definetly recommend these apartments.

Not bad, room was good the only thing is that there is no parking available. There is a parking service that comes and takes your car away and you need to call them when you need it. It is within walking distance of Maiori but the road can be a bit dangerous, caution is advised. There is a small beach accessible via a path but it is not free. A lot of steps up and down to the road, in my opinion not really suitable for disabled people. Otherwise it was fine, would recommend.

We had stayed here 4 years ago. Loved it, we returned to this cosy cove on the magnificent amalfi coast. The beach at the bottom of the property ( which does not belong to la dolce vita but you have access to) was somewhat let go, not as clean as i remember and life guard rather uninterested. Apt #7 and #8 are the nicest with the best views.Cleaning lady grounds keeper Maria Louisa was just delightful sweet and helpful. One of our greatest issues was the "valet service" called Parceggio Aldo Maiori . not owned by hotel is a hired out service. it was slow never showed up with car, rather a rundown van which took us to our car in a parking lot somewhere in the city. No matter how many times we said we would prefer to have our car delivered to us as was promised, they would say yes yes of course and show up with van none the less ! Rather annoying. to the point we avoided getting car trying to find other methods of transport! We complained to Hotel management was very sorry and not pleased about the service we had received and said they would deal with it. However we did not use service again, just in case, but still paid the daily fee. In conclusion , I love this property but not sure i would return because of this car parking issue.

What a lovely week we had staying here! We paid for a sea-view and we're assigned to "Room 8 - La Terrazza"; we didn't see other rooms but to us this seemed like the best room. The reason is that you not only get a living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom - but the added bonus of a sun terrace with 2 loungers and a dining table; perfect for breakfast as the sun rises over the mountains, and dinner as the sun sets (if you prefer to eat in). Jacuzzi and main sun terrace are a lovely addition. It was 30 deg when we were there so the fact that the jacuzzi isn't heated wasn't a problem; I suppose you should beware if your travelling at colder times of year. We hired a car for the week from the airport; beware there is no parking at all at the property. The sister-hotel (The Reginna Palace) arrange for a man called "Aldo" to take your car away for safe keeping (this costs €12 per night); it seems strange on your first night (especially as we arrived at around 11.30pm) but it's all ok. The only issue is that you have to call Aldo to arrange when you want your car so it is slightly inconvenient; he also does not bring your car but takes you back to his garage (where there are dozens of cars) so plan ahead and plan early! Room 8 was nearly perfect giving us the freedom to stay in, but the convenience of a 15 minute walk (along the very narrow and initially scary Amalfi Drive) to the main town of Maiori. Things that could improve our experience: Responding to prior email before arrival on possibility of late check-out. (Not a problem in the end as we spent the last day at the Hotel Reginna pool). Wifi working in the room - our router wasn't working throughout our stay so we had to go outside and use someone else's signal (this was an issue as there was also hardly any phone signal). More convenient parking arrangements. Clearer instructions in arrival pack - things like the routine for parking, needing your room key to exit the main gate at the top, route to the beach etc. Improved kitchen items - there are no wine glasses, bread knife, and cooking utensils are limited. If one or two of the items above were rectified I would give this 5 out of 5. P.S. You must eat at Torre Normanna - closest restaurant down the hill. We ate "on the rocks" (cheaper and shorter menu) and in the main restaurant. Preferred the food "on the rocks" but the views are amazing in the main restaurant.

We had 2 nights at La dolce Vita and on he while it was pretty good. Comfortable and clean - although the wall bed was a bit on the hard side. Could have done with some decent wine glasses. It is a 10 minutes walk into town along a pretty busy narrow road - so take a torch! No car parking but a valet parking service available which was not ideal. We left the car and used public transport and the ferries to get around which was much easier. Some nice views from the front facing units and a small pebbly beach just below. Would certainly go back

The rooms are very clean and furnisher is new. In general its ok. But the surprise was that we stayed without hot water from evening till morning after. The location is at approx 1 km from.Maiori and very dangerous to reach by feet. So you need a car . Parking service is available and staff is very kind. Its ok for a night but price is to high for the services offered.

We were a group of 14, and all of us enjoyed staying here! The room were clean and pretty, we had enough towels (you don't get new clean towels and toilet paper during your stay), the kitchen was fully equipped, and the guys were crazy about the jacuzzi :) We had a little trouble with the key cards of the room, they got demagnetized really fast if we kept them near the phone but we called the hotel and they sent someone with new cards really fast.
