I spent in this hotel one week with my family and a friend during our winter holidays in February 2019 and it was the best place I've ever been to! Kind, professional and guest-focused service provided by nice and friendly people (Staff and the Family). Apartments are spacious, very clean and comfortable and the cuisine in the restaurant is a real poetry! Not to mention about the wines and other drinks :) We will definietly come back there next year, and the next year :)

The whole hotel is just stunning! Spent our Christmas here, with festive spirit all over the place and it was just all magical. Amazing food, especially breakfast, gives you all the power you need for a day out on the MDC slopes. Beautiful spa with a nice view overlooking mountains. Overall, can't wait to be back here! Big thanks to Maffei family who made our stay so special!

Scott Dunn are a company we have traveled with before and they never let us down. They really do choose bespoke places to stay . This gem of a hotel is in the Dolomites and it is just so charming . As soon as we walked in the door it felt like family greeting us. Nothing was too much trouble at all and everyone eager to please. The family room for the 3 of us was super - 2 adults and our son of 13 years / two shower rooms which was great . The food on the half board was absolutely amazing and the benefit of having a Michelin star chef in the kitchen was such a treat every night . Fab dinner '' every '' evening ! Breakfast was wonderful and set us up for the day . Terrific massage too in the Spa for both myself and my husband one evening as we were feeling our age skiing! Thank you so so much to you all . Great stay and we will for sure try and return . XX

It was our first trip to the upmarket ski resort of Madonna Di Campiglio. I did a lot of research to find this hotel and we booked through Scott Dunn. The hotel is located around a 15 minute walk from the town centre and main ski gondola (Spinale), but that wasn't a problem because there is a gotel shuttle bus on demand which takes less than 5 minutes. The fabulous driver Enzo even collects your skis for you from the boot room. If you don't want to put your ski boots on at the hotel there are lockers available for hire at the main ski lift where you can keep them for around €5 a day, some of the older members of our group did this for ease. The stand out at this hotel is the service right from reception staff, the barman and the waiters in the restaurant. It's good old fashioned top quality Italian service and nothing was too much trouble. The other stand out for us was the food. We booked half board and the meals every night were just outstanding. It's a 4 to 5 course meal consisting of light smaller dishes, so you don't come out feeling totally bloated. The breakfast buffet also offered fantastic choice, as well as the buffet you can have any type of eggs cooked to order including omelettes. I'm not a fan of Continental breakfasts so having the hot Buffet or the option to order eggs was great. There were lots of healthy options at the buffet as well as beautiful homemade pastries, cakes and biscuits. We booked a larger Stella Alpina room which was well worth it because I literally cannot describe the view from our balcony. It was so wonderful it was almost like a fake scene from a movie set. It was so lovely to wake up to the mountains once the curtains were opened. We had a small baby so the larger room was useful as we could fit everything in there including the pram without feeling cramped. The room was kept immaculately clean and the hotel provided a lovely cot for our use. The bathroom had two sinks, a decent sized bath and a separate shower. A tiny niggle was that although they had shampoo and shower gel in the rooms, there was no body lotion or conditioner which I really needed, but this is just a small point. There was a kettle and tea making facilities in the room which was great. The indoor pool is heated and is probably the best Spa I've been to in a Ski hotel but please note there is no separate gym. The sauna and steam room were kept immaculately clean. I had a couple of massages which were excellent. If you are weighing up whether to visit this ski resort, just book it. I've skied in a few different Italian resorts and this one is upmarket but understated and has some lovely restaurants and shops. Having a baby I didn't get to sample the mountain restaurants but there are so many that have rave reviews and Michelin stars. There are plenty of runs to ski on for a week and you can go over to other towns and Resorts. I don't think it's a great place for beginner skiers but if you're intermediate and above you won't get bored. Back to the hotel, we had a really wonderful stay and felt so comfortable and pampered throughout the whole week. We would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you to the Maffei family.
