Detailed Reviews
This hotel is immaculate. The staff keep are to be commended on how they keep it so clean. The rooms were very comfortable, the beds and pillows were perfect. (there are spare pillows in the room). The breakfast was plentiful, a selection of cereals, pastries, meat and cheese, yoghurts and oranges along with a choice of teas, juices and coffees. The breakfast is served in a room in the basement which other reviewers have mentioned had no windows. This personally didn't bother me as we just had breakfast and got on with our day. The hotel provided a space for storage for skis/boards and this area was easily accessible and roomy. During the day when I felt like a cup of tea of which I brought from home, the members of staff in the bar downstairs were more than happy to give me a mug of hot water (free of charge). Overall, the staff were extremely attentive and couldn't do enough for us.. It was always a pleasure to bump into them at any time of the day. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying here.

This is a well priced hotel in walking distance to the ski lifts. Should you want to explore slopes further away, the bus comes past the front door. Rooms are simple but comfortable. The owners are very hands on and friendly. It is on the quieter side of town which allows you to get rest at night, but still in walking distance to night life. Would recommend.

Well run small hotel, very welcoming staff who go out of there way to make you feel at home. Easy location, 2 bus stops within 2 min walk to door. Cable car also easily reached. Breakfast europeon/continental and plentiful. The var is nice for apreski and seems frequented by locals, it usually closes around 9.30/10pm at night.

Caravasc was well situated for our familys needs. Close to Casana ski lift from where you could ski to other slopes. 10 min walk to town centre.
Could vary there breakfast offering . Does get monotonous over 2 weeks. Wifi reception on third floor was a problem.
All considered good value for money.
Will consider again

Brilliant hotel for a week of skiing.
Hotel is really clean. Locker in the basement for skiis is brilliant and so handy.
Staff are all really nice and friendly.
Breakfast is simple but has something for everyone.
Was always nice and warm here too (even with the snow outside!)
Hotel is really close to gondola (lift 30 on the map) which is great
10/10 all round!
Cant wait to come back next year :)

I recommend it to anyone who decides to stay in Livigno. Excellent location near the center. Convenient parking space. Excellent cleanliness and simple but beautiful rooms with a view of the beautiful mountains of Livigno. The owners were fantastic, kind, friendly and helpful. What can I say........highly recommended

Good hotel with excellent recently renovated rooms, good breakfast but in a not very large environment, the buffet layout needs to be reviewed.
Excellent location, quiet area and not far from the center.
Friendly staff.

Nice small hotel with clean bright spacious rooms and a balcony with a mountain view. Bathroom was spotless. Were very pleased with our stay here on a ski holiday with Directski. It is to the far end of town from the ski school and most of the nightlife but Livigno is small so it's only a 15 min stroll to the centre and there is a bus stop outside the door. There are a few shops and restaurants neareby and the location also means you get some sleep when you're ready to call it a night!
Staff were friendly - though didn't have much English - but we still felt welcome there. Breakfast was basic but quite adequate with fresh rolls each day. Would be happy to stay here again on another trip to Livigno.

Stayed here from 25th jan to 1st feb. Very hard to fault, 1 min walk from closest ski slopes which is very decent.
Room was unreal very clean and warm, just mind your head of the wooden beams if coming in after a couple a bit tipsy. Cheers. And plant pots for matter, that seem to be on every stair case. Cheers.
5 mins walk into the centre if the town, great selection of restaurants, lots on the menu to chose from, great for pizzas and a shrimp cocktail. Thanking you.
Nightlife, decent. Unreal actually. Bivio is defiantly the place to go, unreal tunes and beeaats. Some nice bars along the town as well.
Skiing is unreal In general, something for every level. Unreal to weak level. Great conditions always lots of snow.
Staff at the caravasc are nice and friendly, location is perfect for everything. Overall, unreal.
Cheers.

The B&B is very near to the bus stop and there are 3 different bus routes very frequent into the resort. The drive to Livigno is an experience for going through the small border tunnel that just fits a bus one way only. Bring a book or movie as it comes close to three hours. Don't stay on the
bus during the stop as the Trofana Tyrol is worth seeing from the inside. Almost like a small timber village.
Caravasc bed and breakfast is good, clean and simple and they leave you alone as long as you behave. The beds are reasonably comfortable and clean towels are given every other day. Breakfast perhaps slightly limited but basic and no different from any other low cost B&B. No bacon and eggs in the morning. Italian Satellite TV in each room, don't forget your HDMI cable as I did. Safe in the room and no extra cost. Wi-Fi signal available but not in our room as I had to sit on the floor outside our room or go downstairs to reception to get connected.
It's a cafe where people socialise, have a drink and play billiards and nothing else. Boring for some but just fine for me. The ski room is downstairs and very useful to get the boots off before you go into your own room. When you leave at 4 am to get your bus to the airport they will give you something to eat and drink. They are a genuinely nice couple who enjoy their work and do their best to help you. Livigno itself depends on a bus service to get you skiing which I really don't like at all. However the BB could not be placed better as the bus stop is outside the front door. The best ski-lift is also just a 50 meter walk away and gets you to one side of the village. I did found the buses good and had no reason to complain. Livigno is probably the best place to buy alcohol and tobacco but with my luck, I don't drink or smoke. You don't pay any tax on it.
Food in Livigno is Pizza or Pasta or the other way round but cheap around 8 euri. The skiing is mainly for advanced beginners who like using the slightly dated lift system. There is one lift Trepalle (8) that takes about 18 minutes and should have been taken out of service years ago. You can cross from one side of the valley to the other side by a short walk but no one tells you and that is an Italian problem as the information where to go and in what direction to ski can be so much better
There is the option of cross country skiing and hire of a snowmobile at a very reasonable rate due to fuel being tax free. Still a really nice place to go and friendly people happy to have you in their village. Go and have a look and enjoy your time. Is there anything really to complain about, the answer must be no. We will be back this summer with our mountain bikes as the mountains are also perfect for this.
