Reasonably sized room with patio area. Good facilities with fantastic views down towards the sea. Good continental buffet breakfast. Great swimming pool with built in Jacuzzi. Friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained building and grounds. Within 5 minutes walking distance of the town and bus/taxi rank.

Hotel Aktea is just a few minutes stroll from the harbour and from the delightful old town of Lipari. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the pool. Everything was very clean and the grounds were well tended and very attractive. Lipari is an attractive island with plenty to see and do. Wandering up to the Archaeological Museum was a...

We booked our 2 weeks at the Aktea directly with the hotel, very helpful exchange of emails so we knew what we were booking, upper floor room with balcony and view over terrace/pool and gardens and out to sea. The hotel also arranged the transfer from Catania airport to the ferry terminal in Milazzo and the hydrofoil tickets for the...

We stayed here for 2 nights in September. The accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and a refreshing relief to the heat. Breakfast was nice and served on the terrace close to the pool. Easy walk into town. We did this a couple of times each day no problem. Shuttle to he port made...

Very comfortable hotel in excellent location just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lipari town. The pool is superb, large, clean and with plenty of room poolside to rest and relax when not sightseeing. The gardens are lovely too. We had planned to eat out frequently but having had a very good, and reasonably priced, meal at the hotel...

I am not a great fan of Lipari, the small island on which the Aktea Resort is situated. Certain areas are dirty and unkempt where nothing evidently gets fixed or repaired, and rubbish/litter/scrap cars/scrap scooters etc abound in the streets. It really needs cleaning up. It seems that either the locals or the local authority have no civic pride whatsoever....

The hotel is about a 100 metres from the harbour. The room was very good and the housekeeping very efficient. The staff were very attentive and friendly and patiently resolved any issues arising. The restaurant was excellent and the set menu was always very good, with a good selection of local wine. The facilities of the hotel were good, particularly the...

We were 2 couples who stayed at the Aktea for just one night as our program dictated. Would love to come for a longer spell. Have never seen such cleanliness in any hotel. Very friendly staff and enjoyed only the lovely breakfast. Great product. Must return !
