Very confortable hotel , central and quiet.Particularly enjoyed the tea corner , in the breakfast room with electric samovar , proper porcelain tea pots and many varieties of green and black teas.Friendly and efficient staff.Very good value.

Comfortable hotel with lovely roof terrace in excellent location. The staff let it down. Some were very helpful but on arrival no information was given about the hotel or meals, only the key handed over. Some desk staff were very helpful others grumpy and appeared to be reluctant to give basic advice.

The perfect location for a stay in Lecce with lovely, traditional, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. But, best of all was the customer service. Just after we checked in we walked up to the main square for lunch - we left the hotel in sunshine. As we were finishing lunch the heavens opened up and there was a torrential...

The Patria is a gem of a hotel in the centre of Lecce's old city, all of about ten steps from the Baroque splendor that is the Basilica Santa Croce. The staff are helpful and English-speaking, the roof-top patio has a view to die for, the fancy breakfast is divine and the decidedly un-princely rate of €110/night is very, very...

We had an elderly limited-mobility relative with us, and found the hotel and staff welcoming and accessible. There are decent mattresses, massive bathrooms, thoughtful touches throughout. The roof terrace was a good spot to relax and admire the city, and the hotel is so central and therefore easy to get to museums, galleries and restaurants on foot. The hotel restaurant...

The Patria Palace goes out of its way to offer a great stay for its guests. The staff is attentive and very helpful. Their recommendations for dinner are flawless (try Antigo Borgo). The location is perfect for exploring Lecce, right across from Santa Croce and a very short walk to the main plaza. Rooms are quiet and well kept, if...

yes indeed the location is absolutely *****, but that is where it ends. What a disappointment. Consider: dining room chairs scraping raucously with every move; surly wait staff who seem to hate their jobs; air conditioning in two of our rooms that kept the room at 27c despite attempts by staff to properly adjust; musty smell throughout the room; breakfast...

Located opposite the entrance to the Santa Croce church. Great views of the baroque church from the roof terrace. VERY helpful and courteous staff, who made great recommendations of places to visit and good local restaurants. We had a quiet room, so no street noise. A nice place to be in the centre of town. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Patria Palace hotel for one night at the end of a 9-day bike trip through Puglia. It's a very nice hotel with a very traditional, patrician feel to it. We stayed in a cathedral-view room, but spent most of our time at the hotel (basically a few hours between walking around Lecce and going to dinner)...

We loved the Patria Palace. The location is in the heart of the pedestrianised historical centre of Lecce and the public rooms and the bedrooms are all very elegant and beautifully furnished. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel breakfast was by far the best we found in our two week holiday in Puglia. We did not...
