Absolutelly wonderful stay. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. Great staff, very helpfull. Location is also great, walkable to everythig in the old city. We were upgraded for no reason and the room was one of the best we have ever been at. Also for no reason we were offered chocolates and champagne in the room. We loved everything about this hotel. Parking is with valet and free of charge, Incredible breakfast, must try the cornetto filled with pistacho sauce. We made a normal reservsation for a normal room but were treated like owned the hotel. Thanks to everyone at the Patria Palace.

We loved our stay at the Patria Palace.. it has everything we could want or need. It enjoys an excellent central position opposite the wonderful Santa Croce and has spectacular views of the same from the beautiful roof terrace where you can enjoy drinks and snacks delivered to you from the hotel bar. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was spacious, quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated and fitted out with lovely furniture and fittings. The bathroom was large and although the shower is over the bath, the water was hot and plentiful and the towels/robes were fluffy and perfectly white. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay was friendly, kind, courteous and helpful. From the front desk, the concierge, housekeeping to the waiting staff at breakfast, every question was answered, every need was fulfilled. Wonderful people who reflected our experience of everyone we met during our time in Lecce. The hotel is stunning and very, very clean. Covid19 rules and restrictions were followed as we hoped and expected and we felt very safe during our stay. Masks are worn in all public areas and there are hand sanitiser stations at strategic points. Breakfast is a la carte with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. There are a few buffet items available which are individually portioned or wrapped. In addition to the comprehensive a la carte menu there's fresh juice, cold water, sparkling wine, cereals, yogurt, fruit, nuts, plentiful teas and coffees. We enjoyed our holiday in Lecce and staying at the Patria Palace made it all the more special. We would definitely return. Our thanks to all the staff! Grazie Mille!

My husband and I were coming to Lecce for one night on a tour of Puglia. We wanted to find an hotel in a central location. This hotel certainly ticks that box. It is so central that we were unable to get to it by car as the centre of Lecce seems to be closed to traffic. Even sat nav could not get us there. In the end my husband waited in the car whilst I walked to the hotel to ask for help. An extremely accommodating gentleman at the desk walked back to the car with me and was able to direct my husband to the hotel. So far, so good. However, we were very surprised to learn that the parking, which had been offered on the hotel website, was actually going to cost us €22 per day. A member of staff drives the car somewhere else and we then have to give them 30 minutes notice of when we would like the car brought back to us. This seems quite expensive, particularly as a charge had not been mentioned online. We had paid for a deluxe room with a balcony. Well, we have the balcony and it is lovely. We also have a room, but I would not call it deluxe. it is quite small, and whilst it has all the facilities you need, none of them is luxurious. the shower is contained in a small bath with a shower screen and the water pressure is not impressive. Nor is the shower head. There is only one wash hand basin and there is no room to put your wash stuff. It ends up on the floor. The basic size of the room is okay, with a lovely high ceiling but the bathroom has been cut into the room, which puts the proportions out of kilter. Picky but the little things matter. These are small quibbles but I would expect more from a hotel where I am paying well over €250. Another small quibble is that we asked the concierge for restaurant recommendations and were given two. We checked them out online and asked the hotel to book one for us. It turns out that it is closed on Tuesdays. I would have thought that the staff recommending places to us should have known if the restaurant was going to be open, or at least have checked before recommending something. Again, maybe I am expecting too much, but this hotel boasts five stars. Also I feel I should mention the lift. It sounded as though it were right in the room. Luckily we had a fairly early start because the clanking of the lift began at 7am. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with plenty of choice and the best cafe latte macciato that I have had in Italy. There is a buffet and a menu. I would particularly recommend the raw salmon. They also serve prosecco - which is always a good thing in my book. All in all, if location is of utmost importance, then this is the place for you.

Dear Madam, We would like to thank you for the time you took to review our Hotel. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed one of our Terrace rooms in front of Santa Croce and our a la carte breakfast. The salmon you mention arrives fresh on weekly basis. At the same time we would like to clarify a few points. The room you were in is 31 square meters, we're sorry to hear that you were not impressed with the water pressure; we have checked and it works properly. We do book restaurants, theaters and city events for our guest regularly, we are sure you understand that we cannot predict if a restaurant is fully booked already of if for some reason the management decided to stay close that night. We always keep the client informed about the stautus of their reservation. In regards to the elevator this is the first time we hear that it can be in some way noisy, although we do understand that some people can be more sensitive about sounds. If you told us we would have changed your room without any further question. Once again we would like to thank you for staying at the Patria and look forward to welcoming you back again.

This hotel is in the very centre of town, not quite pedestrianised but very few cars. All the sites of the old town are within an easy walk. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, ours looked over the front which was a great view. The hotel was spotless and very well managed. The breakfasts were excellent but service was perhaps on the slow side but very friendly. Would certainly recommend without hesitation.

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and for the nice words. Our breakfast is indeed something our guests appreciate. Due to the Covid issue we have decided to go almost completely a la cart, meaning all the food is cooked at the moment for the guest. Eggs, bacon, cold cuts, fish, fresh juices, smoothies, everything is made when the client ask for it; of course this procedure can take more time than serving pre-made food but we believe it is worth it for both palate and safety reasons. Once again thank you for staying at the Patria and look forward to welcoming you back again.
