We spent 2 weeks on an Italian holiday and the Patria was BY FAR our favorite hotel for so many reasons!! We stayed at 5 nights and this hotel is right in the middle of Lecce. Little bit hectic trying here in our rental but we followed the GPS. The staff will park your car for you and bring back when you want. You do pay a parking fee per night but extremely professional and welcoming staff. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a Terrace and just WOW. We loved sitting outside on our Terrace especially as the sun went down with a glass or two on vino. Pure heaven. Generous sized room and LOTS of space for luggage. Breakfast was served on the maim level restaurant and one of the best we have experienced in Europe. Great attention to service and great selection of eats. One of the best AM coffees ever! Hotel was luxurious without being dated. Very fresh and modern with classic elements. As I mentioned our fav of our trip! …

The level of service at this hotel is second to none and the staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. We had problems with our Italian travel agent and the problems were sorted out by reception for which we are very grateful. Breakfast was excellent as was our hotel room. It is conveniently located in the centre of Lecce. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great. The hotel is lovely. Breakfast is great but we had an experience that really put this hotel a step above. Driving into Lecce our gps stopped directing so my husband parked and walked looking for the hotel. He was gone quite sometime and when he returned he had the nicest man from behind the desk with him who walked the distance to our car and drove us to the hotel. Really meant so much to us. We found our entire stay here excellent.

Checked in for a quick stay - leaving at 4am the next morning to the airport. The room was fine. The location excellent. Didn’t go to the restaurant - pretty expensive. Since we were leaving before breakfast, we were told they would supply us with a bagged breakfast. They duly took down my request for a vegetarian one. So, we didn’t bother to buy breakfast things for the early departure. The next morning everyone in our group (15) got the same bag: bottled water, small juice, a green banana, and a few small dry cookies . A 5 star hotel gave us what we’d get in coach seats on a plane. Really? I guess they figured we weren’t coming back. They were right.

Stayed last year when they were recovering from the covid slump. A promising place to stay Came back in 2023. In terms of attitude the hotel hs become complacent and the service sloppy. Will stay elsewhere on future visits to beautiful Lecce.

Gorgeous hotel right in the centre of town. We arrived early and when we got back at check in time our luggage was already in the room waiting. Our room was massive, we even had a walk in wardrobe! Beds comfy and lovely rich cotton linen. Breakfast choice was superb and the hotel is in such a great location in the heart of the old town. About a 20 minute stroll from the main train station. Would definitely go back and we paid less for this 5* than we did for a 3* in lake Como. Would definitely stay there again should I ever be in Lecce.

We had a lovely, four night stay here in August. The room (we had a terrace facing the church) was beyond lovely and at every step the service was exceptional. One day we took advantage of the free beach shuttle to a (also free) beach club and had a lot of fun. The breakfasts deserve their own review as they were the best we had on a three week trip in Italy. Simply splendid.

Seconding the other 5 star reviews for this hotel, well trained and professional staff who looked after us exceptionally well (including organising a local GP at short notice). You are able to drive your car right up to the hotel entrance through the limited traffic zone and their staff will then park your car for you. The roof top bar overlooking the Basilica is a must to visit, nice cocktails and food. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lecce.

We spent five nights at this hotel and highly recommend it. The location is perfect, right in the centre of old Lecce and immediately opposite the baroque Basilica di Santa Croce. The hotel was of an extremely high standard and the service was superb. The only negative really was that the bathroom was very small with very limited space for storing items. We had the standard Classic room, so presumably the more expensive options will have more space. Special thanks to Chiara and Matteo for their unfailing smiles and helpfulness and also of course to Emmanuel for his excellent, world class Negronis. which we enjoyed on their roof top bar. The breakfasts were superb with an amazing range of fresh foods and fruit. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who would all be an asset to any world class hotel.…

Excellent hotel at the heart of the hostorical center of Lecce. Very nice location! Service is excellent, breakfast is very good and the rooftop has great drink and food options. Rooms as very clean and confortable. Several restaurants nearby.
