I absolutely dote on this Golden Age railway gem that has been lovingly refurbished with furnishings both in the large suites and the common areas that would make Antique The Road Show swoon. The place drips aristocracy. The refurbishment needs a little tech adjust however. The air conditioning is hard to set and maintain. The access to the Internet is... More

Large room , very large shower room, very powerful air con but only a sheet on the bed which meant it was cold in the night Although discovered later a blanket in the cupboard. The safe did not work so we reported it and were told it was probably the battery and would be fixed - it wasn't . Our... More

Stayed in the Grand. Old railway hotel refurbished sympathetically to retain its 'grandeur'. Our room was on the front and I was worried about noise but no problem. Good windows and air con ( quiet and efficient) Room recently redecorated (except carpet!) Good size. Good sized bathroom too with jacuzzi bath. balcony. Altogether more than expected for basic room price.... More

This hotel could be amazing, because it has the charm of the old hotels. unfortunately, the rooms are extremely dirty ( the carpet is disgusting , full of stains, and not vacuumed ; the shower cabine is really dirty too; everything is dusty; the swimming pool also needs to be coal). on top of that, the wifi is never working.... If your thinking of staying here and want to use Wi-Fi with Apple devices then think again as they don't connect. The hotel knows there is a problem but the engineer can't fix it so no internet. We have ; different iPhones and 3 different iPads and nothing works. Probably the hotel router needs changing or its firmware upgrading but... More

With the flair of the european aristocracy of old times but with all modern comforts, with style and elegance, this hotel is the perfect option to spend some time in Italy's perola of baroque, Lecce. Very good location, close to train station, friendly staff ready to offer any kind of information, and good breakfast.

Situated close to the Railway Station this hotel upon arrival looked good and probably was once. The room was adequate. It had a comfy bed and very good air conditioning but had a carpet full of dirty marks. Bathroom was ok but no plug in basin for shaving and not cleaned thoroughly enough. When we arrived towel rail was hanging... More

We were welcomed with open arms in this delightful hotel . This was our first time here and will definitely return . Lovely staff and very comfortable room. The hotel also has a swimming pool which is wonderful to swim in and cool off when the temperatures are high . Very good breakfast . The hotel is a 2 minute... More

We stayed two nights here as part of our visit to the region. On arrival we were impressed by the ornate reception area of the hotel and our room was adequate, however there were some issues with the housekeeping. The temperature outside was in the 30's so before we left the room to go exploring we tried to put the... More

The hotel is attractive with well equipped rooms and modern bathrooms. Unfortunately, housekeeping was terrible. Our first room still had dirty bed laundry. When we were given a new room, the room had towels only for one person and no glasses. When housekeeping brought glasses one of them was dirty. The hotel has no restaurant and no room service. Rather... More
