I was in Lecce for one night/two days and was lucky to find this place. It has a great location close to shopping and of course to all the sites in centro storico. This is a well run B&B. Stefano greeted me when I arrived at 2pm, showed me around, fixed me an iced coffee(very hot weather) and a bottle of water. The room is simple and very relaxing. The room I had is next to the breakfast area and shares a balcony. The air conditioning, the wifi, hot water ....all great. I wish I could have stayed longer. I slept very well on a comfortable bed and very quiet building. Breakfast was plenty, the yogurt, pasticiotti, fresh plums...and the best coffee I've had since being in Italy 10 days already. I highly recommend this place.

B&B Piazza 300mila is situated on the edge of the old town of Lecce, ideally situated for visiting the many baroque buildings located in the maze of narrow alleyways. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Stefano, who provided us with maps, guides and restaurant recommendations. Our room had a balcony and was comfortable and well furnished. Wi-Fi was very good and we particularly welcomed having a fridge and safe in our room. The buffet breakfast included yogurt, rolls, cheese, salami, homemade cake and delicious local pastries. Stefano made us feel very welcome and we highly recommend a stay at B&B Piazza 300mila.

We found B&B Piazza 300mila in a desperate search after our initial B&B turned out to be extremely disappointing (another review) after reading good reviews about it. Our only regret with Piazza 300mila was that we could only stay one night, as they were full. However Stefano spent at least one hour on the telephone trying to help us find decent accommodation for the remainder of our stay, and he finally succeeded. The B&B is centrally positioned for both the old town and the shopping area, and there is ample parking (payable for the main opening hours) in the vicinity. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and there were all the necessary accessories one might use eg hair dryer. Breakfasts are ample and Stefano's mother makes delicious cakes (she shared her recipe with us). Stefano even gave us a mini breakfast before we had checked in! I can only recommend this B&B and its special Stefano.

I stayed at this B&B in October and can affirm that it still lives up to it excellent ratings. It is in an excellent location to visit this interesting town. Caterina was a fantastic hostess. She was helpful in taking care of personal matters and gave some excellent restaurant selections. Oh and her breakfasts were excellent, a wide assortment food including some baked good made by her. Lecce is definitely worth visiting and this is great place to stay

Best breakfast, best bed, that's what it's all about isn't it? Caterina was a great host proud to share Lecce's best baking with us. Make sure you write down the address properly which I didn't and as a result spent a while trying to find the place. It's near the old bit of town, near a supermarket, near perfect.

Great and quite central location. We were looked after by a lovely owner and her son. They were very welcoming and friendly. There was a lot of food for breakfast (selection of fruit, cakes, juices, jam, cereal etc.). We stayed in the Orange Room with a great (shared) balcony. The room was very clean and quite spacious, and there was a safe in the room. Throughout the day you can grab a fruit or biscuits in the sitting room, which is brilliant.

I had the good fortune to stay here in September and wish I could have stayed longer. The location in an upscale condo building between Piazza Mazzini and the pedestrian historic center is excellent, and Caterina's warmth and generous spirit are unmatched. She clearly loves what she does. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Her breakfasts are fabulous: fresh fruit salad, cold cuts (cheese & meats), an assortment of just-baked pastries, delicious home-made cakes, and espresso/cappuccino. With only 4 guest rooms, the B&B has a quiet intimacy, almost as if you are living there. Wi-fi is excellent, and my room had a desk & chair as well as access to a common balcony. Caterina's son Stephano was gracious & very helpful, meeting me at the train station an orienting me to the city. Following his directions, I found the 5-10 minute walk to the pedestrian center easy & pleasant (with the best gelato in Lecce en route), and walking to restaurants near the B&B gave me an enjoyable experience of the city outside the historic center. I will happily return to Caterina's warm welcome if ever in Lecce again.
