It overlooks the elegant Piazza Mazzini,the shopping centre of Lecce,and is a 5 minute walk from the Charles V's Castle and the Basilica of Santa Croce. Perfect place to stay in the center of Lecce. Comfortable beds with your private bathroom. It also had a nice desk and balcony for some fresh air. The host Stefano was easy to reach, super helpful, kind and flexible when I needed a bit longer to checkout.

I stayed at this B&B in October and can affirm that it still lives up to it excellent ratings. It is in an excellent location to visit this interesting town. Caterina was a fantastic hostess. She was helpful in taking care of personal matters and gave some excellent restaurant selections. Oh and her breakfasts were excellent, a wide assortment food including some baked good made by her. Lecce is definitely worth visiting and this is great place to stay

I had the good fortune to stay here in September and wish I could have stayed longer. The location in an upscale condo building between Piazza Mazzini and the pedestrian historic center is excellent, and Caterina's warmth and generous spirit are unmatched. She clearly loves what she does. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Her breakfasts are fabulous: fresh fruit salad, cold cuts (cheese & meats), an assortment of just-baked pastries, delicious home-made cakes, and espresso/cappuccino. With only 4 guest rooms, the B&B has a quiet intimacy, almost as if you are living there. Wi-fi is excellent, and my room had a desk & chair as well as access to a common balcony. Caterina's son Stephano was gracious & very helpful, meeting me at the train station an orienting me to the city. Following his directions, I found the 5-10 minute walk to the pedestrian center easy & pleasant (with the best gelato in Lecce en route), and walking to restaurants near the B&B gave me an enjoyable experience of the city outside the historic center. I will happily return to Caterina's warm welcome if ever in Lecce again.

We stayed at this B&B for one night and found it to be of high quality based on location, cleanliness, room and common area features, breakfast, and professional and helpful staff. It is also a good value for the money. The only complaint we have, and it is a big one for us, is the lack of quality and comfort of the mattress. Neither my husband nor I got a good night's sleep due to the mattress. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.

We visited Lecce for a week and were very happy with our choice of lodging. Catarina is a very welcoming hostess. She met us at the train station and drove us to the B&B and her assistant, Fosca, drove us back to the station when we were leaving. Our room was simple but very comfortable. It opened up to the terrace which was a plus. The whole B&B was immaculately clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've had in Italy as was the pillow. I like the firm mattresses that are prevalent in the country but usually don't like the pillows so the ones here were a nice surprise. Our shower was small but the pressure was very good and there was lots of hot water. The bath towels were large and thick. The room was outfitted with a hot pot, tea, cups, spoons, sugar and water. There was always water and some snacks in the common room. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and included fresh fruits, freshly baked cakes, tarts and pastries, cold meats and cheeses, breads, yogurt, cereal, milk and juice. Catarina made delicious cappuccino, espresso and cafe lungo. Catarina was very helpful in setting up a driver for a day. She gave us very good recommendations for restaurants in Lecce. The B&B is in a good location. It was about a 5 minute walk to the city center. Lecce itself was a lovely place. We felt completely at home in this B&B and would not hesitate to stay there again should we return to Lecce.

Lecce is a beautiful city and this B&B is perfectly located to explore it. Just outside of the historic centre, it's an easy walk to the major sights and convenient to all kinds of shopping. Caterina made us feel totally at home - she couldn't be more friendly, helpful or accommodating - and her English is excellent! We were sorry to have to leave.

My sister and I very much enjoyed our 3-night stay here. The hosts were welcoming without being overbearing and they were very on the ball. Stefano texted us the day before to ask us what time we would be arriving. We arrived at the appointed hour and were greeted promptly and warmly by our hostess, who was clearly expecting us. We were offered water, coffee and fresh custard pastries on our arrival. Our hostess gave us a map of the city and showed us how to reach the main attractions. Information on nearby towns (Otranto, Gallipoli) was available in the lobby, and the hostess lent us her computer to let us look up the Salento bus times (conveniently posted on the B&B's facebook site). We had requested two separate beds and were given a triple room (with a double and a twin bed). The room was clean and spacious and the air conditioning efficient. Breakfast consisted of a variety of fresh local pastries, cereal, yogurt, meat and cheese with our choice of cappuccino or espresso. Some days there was also fresh watermelon. The hostess was very accommodating; she asked us several times if there was anything else that we would like (for example, eggs for breakfast if we preferred). B&B Piazza 300mila is well located, within easy reach of the historic centre. We found that this B&B was excellent value for our money and would be happy to visit again.

We stayed four nights in late March. This is an ideal location that is minutes from all the major sights. Proprietor’s Caterina e Stefano were delightful and helpful. Caterina gave us an area map, marked our location, key sights, a great lunch spot, coin laundry facility, etc. Later on when we asked about certain restaurants, she showed us their location and made reservations for us. Her suggested restaurants turned out to be our best dining experiences. Our room was a Double, large, clean, comfortable. The bathroom area was exceptionally nice.
We will recommend B&B Piazza 300mila to our friends and, when we return to Lecce, we’ll stay there again.

Good B&B in Lecce, a few hundred meters from the center of Lecce. It is in a modern building (caution : no place to park a car, and taximeter in the street). Room is quite basic, but clean and comfortable, ours was with a large terrace, including a table + chairs to seat outside, overlooking the street. The owner (and son) are helpful and welcoming.
