Hotel in excellent position within easy drive of city centre, approximately 1 hour drive to skiing, and the beach, 1 1/2 hour drive to Rome. The hotel was clean and comfortable, ( although the beds were quite hard!).The bathroom was modern with excellent shower. The hotel has a choice of restaurants, both very reasonable, and delicious food. The staff were... More

I visited this place since there was a socisl event of a national (Italian) conference. I can't evaluate price since dinner has been included in tegistration. It was a big dinner (220 people). Appetizers outside very good as well as the dinner. Good rice in cheese, tortellini and meat. Dessert was wonderful. It was based on lemon cream and lemon... More

Last week my wife, three children, and I spent a few nights in L'Aquila so that we could explore Assergi where my wife's family is from. What better place to spend these nights than Magione Papale! It was elegant, highly accommodating, and charming! Our relatives told us it was once a mill. The building was beautiful, the restaurant was excellent... More

Firstly the area has little to offer. L'Aquila is a bit like a ghost town and little has been done since the earthquake. We chose this hotel for 2 nights in between Rome and Ravello to relax for a while. It was a struggle to find it but eventually we did. It is like an oasis in the middle of... More

Good evening , We apologize for the delay with we respond. We are sorry for the misunderstanding created during your stay at our relais, because be able to satisfy to the expectations of our customers is our target. During the summer the restaurant is often busy with weddings and events that reduce the availability of both restaurants, we try as... More

This is excellent hotel with perfect service and michelin star restaurant. We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed the facilities. The rooms are comfortable and fancy. Service people are very friendly and nice. We had also both dinners in the restaurants as the city is quite devastated after earthquake. Recommended stay in this area is 1 night - you will... More

Beatiful building , nice staff and adequate breakfast . I imagine in summer this place would be wonderful . However I turned up after a ten hour drive and found the restaurant doesn't open Sundays . Thats the only problem , the location is poor with no facilities around . However it is immaculate and would love to go back... More

Very modern facilities in a nicely renovated building this hotel had a touch of class about it. Staff were very helpful, the breakfasts good and the waiting staff for dinners were excellent. We had a car so had no problems but without a car the location is too far out of town. Otherwise happy to recommend it to others.

This hotel seemed to be a hidden paradise to us! The whole area has been largely damaged by an earthquake and we could never expect to find such a luxury property there. My first choice in the whole 50-km area forever and would definitely recommend to those searching for relaxing overnight during the national park trip or for those willing... More
