Spent fabulous week at this hotel booked via Crystal, 1-8 Mar. Staff were excellent - beyond the call of duty when friend had to get prescription but local Pila pharmacy was closed, front of house lady collected meds from Aosta, very much appreciated given it was a whiteout that day! 50cm fell! Transfer from Turin 1hr 30 which is great and the skiing was excellent, views breathtaking. Hotel could not be closer to the chair to get started for the day - practically could ski into the garage after the snow on the Thur! The bedroom was roomy and great to have big shower room with high ceiling meaning steamy mirror not an issue! Only negative is the rather uncomfortable seating in the reception/bar area - kept thinking they've missed a trick as would have spent more time,ie more money there! Such a shame for the whole of Aosta Valley that resorts have had to close since the 9th. Gutted seeing the webcams today - sun and pristine pistes with loads of snow and no people! Really wish the area well in a speedy recovery. Will definitely be back - if it's good enough for Graham Bell (GB racer /BBC Ski Sunday presenter) it must be good!

Everything was easy in this friendly, family run hotel. Rooms are a good size with wonderful views of iconic Alpine mountains and Aosta in the valley below. The good quality food is excellent, well-presented and plentiful. All the staff are first rate and Alessandro showed time and again that nothing was too much trouble for him. Hotel is well situated for access to the pistes.

We (a family of four - two adult and two teenagers) stayed here February half term 2020. We had two rooms adjacent to each other facing towards the mountains. This is an excellent hotel for ski out/in access. Very clean hotel - we enjoyed the food which reflected the area and found all the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The two waitresses were outstanding in their hard work and always were very friendly . It may not suit everyone but we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Some may find the skiing limited but there was enough for us in a week - the pistes were well prepared every day, better value than French resorts and the lift queues were shorter (accepting it was UK half-term).

Stayed here in half term last week. The owner and all his staff are first rate nothing was too much trouble. Food is good quality and plentiful - I had an apparent single room but was large enough to sleep at least 3. Bed extremely comfortable and copious amounts of towels for the bathroom. The bathroom was obviously suitable for the disabled and was in fact a wet room in every sense of the word as it took hours for the floor to dry after showering. However I had plenty of hot water and the shower flow was strong. It would be a good idea to take own toiletries though as the soap given was miniscule. Hotel is a little on the tired side and could perhaps do with an upgrade especially with the almost non-existent wifi, plus as in most hotels these days better lighting. However I wouldn't hesitate to return here next year not least because the staff were kind and tremendously helpful. It is also well situated for access to the pistes.

Room Tip: I had room 103 on ground floor but those higher enjoy balconies. I did have good views though.

I won't say a bad word about this hotel. My child broke his leg skiing and the care, support and kindness that the staff showed to him was absolutely brilliant. They literally couldn't do enough for him, including meeting him from the ambulance with a wheelchair, helping him to the room, asking if he wanted anything special to eat and clearing the restaurant when he came to breakfast and dinner. The owner in particular along with everyone else who worked there made an extremely difficult and stressful situation so much easier and I will always be grateful. Wonderful wonderful people!
