We used to come to Tenuta Primero back when it was a Camping, and stopped going since our family grew and we were no longer attracted to that type of holiday. We recently found out that Tenuta Primero was being completely refurbished into a hotel/resort, and so, as soon as it was possible we gave it a shot. We couldn't believe our eyes. The idea to spread only 135 individual cottages and bungalows over such an enormous area, made us feel safe and special, as all services offered are now in line with the standars of international luxury chains. We were given free bicycles in order to move around the resort, which we explored in every corner. The proximity to the lagoon and to the national park led us to extraordindary encounters: swans, flamingos, falcons and all sorts of avionic species. The breakfast has breathtaking views over the Gulf of Triest, and is of a very high standard. At night the Restaurant, with the same views, offers an awesome selection of dishes, whcih are beautifully prepared. The bistrot at the pool was the highlight for our kids. They loved eating their spaghetti vongole in their bathing suits, despite the weather was not too generous with us. The beach was perfect for morning walks. We even had a golf class, but I guess that we need several more before hitting that ball ;) The concierge service was absolutely lovely and organized our daily visits to various sites, including the Venica&Venica Vineyard, and a helicopter tour of the lagoon. All Covid measures were taken very seriously and we felt safe at all times, also thanks to the fact that the resort is mostly "outdoors". We will definitely come again, and recommend this hidden gem to anyone who wants to switch off for some time and recharge batteries. Oh yes, little advise, bring mosquito spray. Being in the lagoon comes with its benefits but also with its "inhabitants". KUDOS to the whole Tenuta Primero Team. We will be back!

We booked a last minute winter weekend away here. The resort was almost empty, which given the pandemic, was perfect! Much of the resort (including bars, shops etc) is currently closed due to them making improvements, which was fine with us as we wanted to avoid bars in any case. We stayed in a self-catering Marina Cottage. It was very well equipped, warm and clean. Highly reccomended!

Stayed in one of the modern 2-bed villas. Perfect for a family with 2 kids. Accommodation of a high standard incl very nice indoor and outdoor sitting and dining areas. Good a/c too. Kitchen fine for basic meals although note no oven, just a hob and microwave and limited kitchen surfaces. Note also that the rooms in the villa do not interconnect. Resort facilities incl pool, beach and tennis were good and well maintained. Restaurant incl breakfast fine, not amazing - we preferred eating in the villa. Handy delivery service for breakfast. Service in restaurant and housekeeping a little mixed. Useful bike hire available although not strictly necessary. Note: there were no campers at all when we stayed due to Corona; suspect the facilities might struggle when the resort is at capacity.

This is a place that fulfills all requirements for a blissful holiday in the north of Italy. The owners and the entire staff are more than welcoming, everything is prepared for you upon arrival, the cottages are equipped with everything that you may need and they are impaccably clean. The extensive premises with their old trees offer shade, the pool and beach areas provide excellent service throughout the day and the highlight is the seaside restaurant where delicious food is served. We have had a wonderful time and we could not imagine to have a vacation anywhere else in the future. Thank you to all of you who have made our holiday unforgettable.

This place is a gem, located on the beautiful island of Grado also known as "island of the sun" or " isola del Sole". The Resort has luxurious facilities with wonderful quiet cottages surrounded by flowers and palm trees. All the facilities are walking distance but it is also bicycle friendly. We stayed in the beach cottages, they are equipped with giant rooms, living room, spacy bathrooms, kitchen, air-conditioning, mini-bar, kingsize bed and not to mention the beautiful interior design. They also provided us with bikes which allowed us to take trips around the island and had our own area reserved for us at the pool. We loved the breakfast with sea view and also the proximity to their restaurant which serves fresh fish and delicious Italian dishes. To wind down we used to take our "aperitivo" at the Yacht Club Primero where you can enjoy the sunset to nice music until late in the evening. This hidden oasis, is a gem for families, couples and anyone who wants to take some time off and get treated with the best service and an amazing and friendly staff. I will be back soon and highly recommend it!
