Me and my wife have just recently been to this hotel. We stayed for a week. The room was nice and clean, the beds were ever so comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. The maids were in every day cleaning. Plenty of storage but not enough hangers in the wardrobe. Food in the restaurant was limited, but we always found something to eat. Never queued long for a drink at the bar, quick service and plenty of spaces to sit. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and never had a problem getting a sunbed. Staff were pleasant apart from the guy that drove the courtesy bus, miserable. The bus was frequent from the hotel to the beach and took 10 minutes. A nice break away.
Gorgeous clean and well laid out hotel. Food is all locally sourced and authentic to the region which may not suit younger visitors but there is a pizza restaurant available during the day to fill fussy eaters up at lunch time. Evening entertainment was local musicians and very relaxing. We were lucky enough to see Etna erupt from our evening seats. One trip I can't recommend enough is to stromboli volcano. It was amazing, breathtaking and an out of this world experience.
Lovely Hotel a little bit of a walk into town but overall a lovely memorable stay food was good , lovely pool area with authentic Italian entertainment at night, all inclusive drinks package was okay dining room for breakfast could get busy with coach parties.
Lovely clean and spacious hotel. Nice grounds to walk around in, fish pond and nice sunny seating areas. Pool great size but too cold to get in in October. Gym- lovely little gym. Shame it's not open in the mornings. Shuttle bus handy but only seats around 7 people so we ended up walking to the beach . We enjoyed the exercise but the pavements are not great and poorly lit. Pizza restaurant shut for the season- very disappointing. No juice machine as mentioned in previous reviews. No proper coffee. Desserts a real let down- saves on calories i suppose Bar staff very moody and bar service extremely slow. Bar snacks at 6pm consist of olives and cubes of cheese and was all eaten within minutes! Taormina nice place to go on the bus. Be aware that the bus timetable isn't accurate. Large supermarket 5min walk- turn left out of the hotel. Beach-2 free sunbeds when you show hotel card. Sooo many people selling things, very annoying. We went to the beach on the other side. There's no sunbeds or anyone around. Nature reserve at the back of the beach, views of Etna and you can go up to the Alacantra river! Gorgeous place. 22 min walk back to hotel :) …
Hotel was clean and cosy, was a pain with the card thing instead of a wrist band as you had to carry it and show it all the time. Also having a proper key for your room with a key for electricity was heavy I kept removing door key and leaving rest in my room for easyness. Food was okay but seemed to be mostly the same each meal time, was disappointed with desserts. From the Friday until Sunday the hotel was busy with conference meetings and I feel that the rest of us were ignored. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, bar staff could do with people training. Not much round the hotel for places to go, beach wasn't a walk away and shuttle bus only ran at certain times of the day. Holiday was a nice relaxing one due to time of year, but not impressed.
