We got a bit off on the wrong track while taking a walk in the outskirts of Giardini Naxos. 1 km walk from the beach left us at a dead end street and us facing the Arthena Rocks Hotel. Having the choice of walking back or trying the Arathena kitchen - we let our stomachs decide. Upon entering the reception,...

Stayed at the Arathena Rocks for 2 weeks second half of August. For the first few days for the Ferragosta (Assumption) holiday weekend, the hotel (and the one beside it which shares the hotel pool) was very busy - as was Taormina in the evening. Lots of older Italian older/couples/families there who knew each other from going back every year...

We had a wonderful week at the arathena rocks hotel. The service was always great, and the food was good as well. The sun beds were comfy and the rooms was nice. Very old furniture and decorations but that was part of the charm. My sister didn't like the spaghetti al Pomodoro so she got a discount on the price....

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2016, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is on a quiet street, which is lit with lamps at night, and surrounded by other, quiet, hotels, meaning as 2 young women we felt very safe walking back from town at night and day. The quirky design of the hotel...

Myself and two friends visited this hotel in July for a week's break. We didn't really have any idea of what to expect but this hotel is lovely and the staff really make the place special. Around a 15 minute walk from the beach and restaurants, the hotel is at the end of a quiet road and so suffers from...

A big hotel, but a little decadent and dated. The room is Ok, but it is a little far from downtown and at night , the street is badly lighted and isolated. The breakfast is well served and wifi didn't work inside the room. When we arrived, there was a excursion, and there was only one person to receive all...

Altough it is put on the sign pointing the way to the hotel, this is not a 4 star hotel. The maintenance of the building is somewhat to be desired. Especially the outside, around the swimming pool could use an update. The rooms are no longer up to standards and could use some freshening up themselves. Som guests complained of...

This hotel is in an excellent, quiet sea front area of Ghiadani Naxos in an historic part of Sicily dominated by the smoking volcano Mount Etna, with superb views of the hill top towns of Taormina and Castelmona. There is no beach here but a very large swimming pool and easy access to the sea. The hotel is very traditional...

We stayed for one week in late August 2015. The hotel was at the end of a side street about ten mins walk to the beach. The furnishings were very traditional and lovely. We tried to book a room with a sea view but were told there were none available, even though we were happy to pay for the upgrade....

I loved this hotel. The location was out of Giardini Naxos and at the end of a no through road, so no passing traffic, although it was only a 10 min walk to get to the start of the town. So, why haven't I given this 5 stars. Mainly for two reasons. 1. We booked a room with a balcony,...
