Lovely stay in this very comfortable and beautifully furnished hotel.
I highly recommend the sea view rooms!
Its greatest advantage is precisely the location, overlooking the sea and in a very quiet position at the end of a closed road. Convenient parking, absolute tranquility, very kind staff, adequate value for money. If we wanted to suggest further improvements, we could pay more attention to the cleaning of the swimming pool, which is otherwise beautiful.

This is a quirky little hotel which offers a good experience if you take it for what it is. It is not outdated, just eccletic, and maybe not to everyone's taste, but if you like peace and quiet on the edge of the sea (and who doesn't?!) then this place delivers. The rooms are reasonably spacious, the bathrooms are modern and everything is very clean and well kept. Our sea view room had a beautiful outlook and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves lapping against the rocks. The service at reception was very good, we didn't eat at the restaurant other than breakfast which was good enough, nothing to write home about but sufficient choice to please most people. The location is a little out of the way but you can't have both peace and quiet and be in the centre of a bustling resort, so it's great if you don't mind a walk. The views of Taormina, Castelmola and Etna from all around this resort are stunning. Overall a lovely hotel with a homely vibe.

Beautiful hotel a step away from the center of Giardini Naxos, with great views. It has a fantastic seawater pool, and gives a few meters the chance to dive among lava stones that catapult you into a very rich marine environment.

The food is very good, not great. It is better to choose the breakfast formula and from time to time choose dinner for 18 euros per person. But at 18 euros the dinner is more than valid.

Simple furnishings in the rooms, but in the common areas very sought after. The service also great.

The location is lovely and very characteristic. The rooms are spacious and clean, with sea or Etna views. Better to ask for rooms with sea view, because on the other side you are woken by the garbage collection service at 5.30 / 6 in the morning... The location is quiet, a little 'far from the center if you want to walk.
The waiting staff is very professional, a little less so than the reception, who struggles to say hello. We were greeted by a person who did not make us feel absolutely welcome. A listless and unfriendly person.
Be careful if you choose half board. There is only dinner and there is no way to change it with lunch, not even with a lunch bag.
I asked for this change for my birthday and was told no, without any explanation. I lost my dinner money, but I still went to the restaurant.
The food is good, but nothing much. The choice of dishes goes a bit to saving, especially in the portions. Breakfast is not the best either. Almost all packaged and low quality products.
We say that the welcome in this structure is not the best. I did not feel in Sicily ...

The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.
They provided all the information about the local area and transport links as well as booking our tours which made our stay pleasant and enjoyable.

Our room was lovely and clean it also had a balcony overlooking the pool area and the unique view of the rocks into the sea.

The only shortcomings was the rooms didn't have a kettle or ironing equipment, but however had a fridge.

We would highly recommend "Arathena Rocks Hotel for a good relaxing holiday base for couples and families.

Unfortunately our flight to Catania was cancelled because of Mount Etna erupting. When I tried to inform the hotel that we would not be able to come and we would need a refund, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and helpful. She told me that there was nothing she was able to do so what did she want me to do and that I needed to speak to lastminute.com to resolve the issue. Both the hotel and last minute kept blaming one another and saying we should talk to the opposite party. She gave me a number to an another man that said exactly the same response. We were coming to Naxos to sort out our wedding plans and was hoping that most of our wedding party would stay at this hotel, unfortunately that will not be happening now as we still have not had a refund and I was extremely unimpressed with Elisa the lady from the hotel who I spoke to on the phone. I would be embarrassed to have someone like her representing and answering calls for my company.

Very clean hotel. The staff is very kind, ready to help us in French even though they don't speak too much French.
The breakfast buffet is very good (croissant, bread, cakes, pressed fruit juices)
The evening meal is also very good.
Towels are changed every day as well as cleaning.
On the other hand, a small downside for tourists who put their towels on the deckchairs in the morning and don't go there and come back in the evening 😡
I recommend this hotel

We spent a very relaxing week at the Arathena Rocks Hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the food was good and the place was spotless. The location is on the edge of this busy little tourist town, which has lots of places to eat and lots of opportunities for day trips. Taormina is a short bus ride away; we visited twice.

Wonderful location with stunning sea views... The staff should improve a bit, 'I found negligence on their part when I asked not to find my brush on the table of the room where I left it... I was given an implausible explanation... Saying that perhaps in taking away the dirty towels they had carelessly wrapped her in them, in my opinion it is not a Response to give, because a brush can be bought back, but what if I had left something more precious? Would he have met the same fate? So saying goodbye to a brush is not a drama but something else I wouldn't say...

The Pension is clean and well located, with a swimming pool, garden and access to the sea, where you can enjoy morning, lunch and evening meals. The rooms are spacious and several face the sea, while the others face the alley. The other negatives are that the beds are really not comfortable and the food leaves something to be desired. The morning buffet is very limited, the bread is dry and there is no fresh fruit. Evening meals are very disappointing, even bad and sorely lack variety.

Towels can be provided at 2euro's each. The towel can be kept for as long as you wish and returned when you have finished with them. My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks and used two sets of towels costing a total of 8 euros, it is not worth taking your own towels Regards Peter Smith
