Location , very good Room, old Food ,hit and miss Pool side , like a Christmas market Beach, amazing Would I go again, if I have to Very dated inside , in desperate need for new deco , nice restaurants around the hotel , the water in the beach is crystal clear
I spent four days there last September before leaving Sicily and it was a relaxing way to end up an island tour. The beach location was lovely and the room with a view, very nice. The pool was great for swimming lengths. The food was also very good. I highly recommend this southern resort in Sicily
Charge for sun lounger and umbrella by pool exorbitant. Even a charge to use the indoor pool. Staff efficient and friendly, and spoke excellent English. The bathroom badly designed, awkward climb in to bath to use shower
Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, we took 3 rooms on the 3rd floor. All rooms were spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea which was quite nice and we had plenty of coffees on the balconies. Beds were good and comfortable, relatively small TV but these days who uses the TV? We all come with our own screens - I don't think I opened it even once. Nice bathrooms though the towels are not close to the shower which causes you to either put it someplace else or exit the tub to get a towel. Each morning we got two complimentary bottles of water (one flat and one sparkling). The room also includes a pot, tea bags (3 kinds), instant coffee and sugar. Breakfast is the usual european hotel breakfast - eggs, bacon, salamy, ham, bread, , cereal, jam. Plenty of sweets including cannoli. Water, juices, hot beverages and some fruit. The minus of the breakfast was the fruit were not as fresh as one would expect (they looked like they were there for a while), and no fresh vegetable salad, they usually had some lettuce, and red peppers/tomatos/cucumbers/olives. I'm Israeli I like vegetable salad and I was missing that or even the option to mix some vegetables on my own. The pool was very cold, even while swimming (I'm a fast swimmer) I couldn't warm up so I didn't return, you have access from the hotel right to the beach which was very nice for walking, sunbathing and getting into the water. Bring sandals as the beaches in Sicily have a lot of pebbles. Staff was very helpful and friendly and also spoke good English.…
Our visit last month was our sixth time spending our vacation in Giardini Naxos at the RG Naxos hotel. Linda DiPasquale who was instrumental in making all travel arrangements for my wife and daughter was extremely helpful. She also provided us with a special restaurant to eat at in Taormino for our 55th anniversary. Needless to say it was elegant and very special. We couldn’t thank her enough. The adjacent rooms we occupied at the hotel were spotless, and the view of the sea was absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was abundant and the food was very good. The only regret we had was the week flew by so quickly. Looking forward to next September when we will once again stay at this fabulous hotel. Thanks again to Linda and the staff of the hotel for making this trip an experience we will not forget.…
