Stayed here for a week in September 2016, booked through Thomson Lakes & Mountains. It was encouraging talking to another couple on the coach that this would be their third time to stay at this Hotel. Hotel is small having just 15 rooms, central, in a quiet, more residential area. Our room was very clean as was the ensuite, which...

Welcoming arrival by staff. Very enjoyable stay, hill not really a problem. Its not too steep and the Virginia is close to centre of town (5 min walk.) Very welcome air-con given it was 30+ for whole week. Decor in hotel lovely and room spacious. Breakfast was standard continental fare. Bathroom could do with a little TLC. However, for a...

Stayed here with my husband & chose it because of the reviews on trip advisor. It lived up to expectation being only 3 stars. There are two issues we have, which probably won't bother a lot of people these were: the towels were like sandpaper & the hill up to the hotel. Not good for the elderly or infirm. The...

Beautifully managed and competently run by two sisters who make sure that every patron gets the attention and service they deserve. The rooms are clean and regularly serviced, the staff go about their business happily, quietly and with efficiencies expected of such a tight ship. The food is excellent both in preparation, display... and, of course, taste. The decor and...

Just back from a week in Garda. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, wonderful location just five minutes from Lake. Nothing was too much trouble and no matter how early a start we had breakfast was always ready for us. When I go back as I really hope to I would have no hesitation staying at Virginia...

The hotel was spotless and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of the resort! The staff were very helpful and welcoming and would highly recommend this hotel. We had a lovely room and the only thing letting it down slightly was the breakfast choice. But for the money we paid I thought this hotel was excellent and we...

This 2 star hotel is better than some 3 star hotels I've stayed in. It is small, family run, clean and convenient for the lake, bus station and ferry. We had room 18, at the back, with a balcony. The view up the hills was lovely and it was quiet. We had free air con, and a small safe in...
