We came to stay for a week, and it's been pretty memorable.

First of all I would not recommend bringing senior citizens or those who have trouble walking or need wheelchair access. The hotel is at the top of a long steep hill and there's ZERO disabled access.

To put it into one

These premises stands completely as it was build in the 70's I suppose. Rooms are very basic, no aircon, and basically nothing extra. The all inclusive food hall concept is rather I charming however if you manage to get a seat outside you have fantastic views over the lake - and

Picked hotel as part of a last minute deal, so given it was a cheap deal we were not expecting much. It provided a good Base but wouldn't have wanted too spend too long in the room. The hotel decor is definitely of its time, but was clean and tidy. Single beds pushed together no

After staying in good hotels in Bologna and Venice, I was a bit disappointed by Hotel Marco Polo.
The reception area and parking are very good, but when we arrived at our room, I was very disappointed. They very much need to renovate this hotel and make it a bit more modern. The

Before coming to this hotel, we were scared, because of bad reviews, but in reality everything is much better, than somebody writes. Very good place, lots of trees, lots of space, two big pools, the beach is 5 minutes walk. Since to get to hotel from the beach or bus stop you nee

How long does it take to walk into Garda from the hotel, how far is it and are there bikes available?
About 20 minutes, the walk is not ideal as you have to walk down a steep hill and along a busy road where the pavement is about half the size of the UK.

"Best rooms on 1 st floor"
"Find another hotel. Simple as that."
"We stayed in room 138 which had a large tree directly in front of window but was very sunny in the evening. View of mountains to side"
"room 220 was my room,as i said it was noisy"
"There were plenty of bungalows with car parks, grills, terraces - they seemed pretty nice. If you are thinking about to book accommodation in this hotel, try the bungalows. In order to avoid check-in problems I mentioned in my opinion, try to confirm reservation via e-mail or phone. And arrive in time!!! There is a "first come, first served" ars poetica, so first arrivers got the rooms they booked, and others are diverted to other hotels of the chain, or to bungalows, maybe far away from the hotel building."
