I have been to the Villa Maria several times now and it is my only choice when visiting the Chieti area. The hotel sits in the hills with a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. The check in process was very efficient. Overall the staff is very accommodating and friendly. My room was spacious and had a nice balcony with...

A place of serenity and tranquillity. This is my favourite hotel in Abruzzo - the location is ideal for who every is seeking peace and tranquillity. The food is locally sourced, and the recipes served are authentic from the Abbruzzo region and reasonably priced The staff are very professional and some would recognised returning customers.

The grounds and eating area were breathtaking. Every request we made was done with kindness and patience (setting our GPS for exploring the beautiful Abruzzi region, restaurant recommendations and daily ice/bucket.The Villa Maria provided an almost hourly shuttle service to the beach and had identified lounge chairs and umbrellas for their guests. Beach was gorgeous. The entire team was great...

Nice , clean but modest rooms, the sea facing rooms, the terrace and SPA have a great view. The staff is friendly. Food is so-so (even breakfast is very basic) but there are plenty of nicer options to eat within 10-20 minutes walk from the hotel (186 on the beach & Le Lampere on the highway). Beach is a direct...

This was an unplanned stop on our improvised road trip so we had no expectations. We stayed for only two days and it all started with us getting lost in our initial efforts to find the hotel. After cursing our GPS enough we somehow found our way to Villa Maria. The hotel was really nice and our room had good...

We were having off site meetings and really enjoyed the scenery here. The rooms were not the best. Could hear everything through the walls. Several of the group mentioned this. The wait staff at the restraunt and during the breaks was really great and I appreciated there help.
