With only a 3min- walk to Piazza Cattedrale this for sure is the best located hotel in Ferrara. From the moment of arrival excellent reception staff gives you the feeling of being most welcome. This is one of the typical italian small downtown 3star- hotels with cosy rooms that will need some refurbishment- sooner or later ;-) Breakfast is o.k.... More

This hotel provides travellers with everything they need for a great comfortable holiday. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The continental breakfast had everything you could want and more and kept you going all day and the staff were helpful, friendly and just lovely. The central location of the hotel provides the perfect base for sightseeing, shopping, dining and... More

What a marvellous little hotel. In a converted palazzo, wood beam ceiling in our room certainly wasn't from this century, nor the last. Charming. Pleasantly decorated in the public rooms with the work of local artists, the breakfast was quite nice and all of the staff could not have been more helpful. We had some superb dining experiences solely due... More

Comfortable family run hotel with staff who couldn't be more helpful and excellent breakfasts. We spent 3 nights and had room 27 on second floor with lots of light and air (and sadly mosquitos!) They loaned us bikes for the day to do a tour around the city walls - well worth it. Good dining close by including our best... More

We stayed here for 3 nights - our first visit to Ferrara. It is a fairly small hotel - about 12 rooms or so run by the owners I think anyway they were very helpful & pleasant. Our room was a good size with high ceilings on 1st floor. There wasn't much of a view and it was a bit... More

We spent two nights here. There were three of us so we requested a room for three. What we got was a two room suite with a roof top patio. Wow! The hotel is located only one block from the castle and two blocks from the cathedral. But it is on a short stub of a street that is parallel... More

Booked based upon many positive Trip Advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Not luxurious, but more than adequate for a short stay in Ferrara. Andreas was welcoming when we arrived, and everyone else was cheerful and helpful during our stay. The Castello Estense is practically across the street, and it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo/cathedral. Street... More

I'll definitely be returning to Hotel de Prati. The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating to our family. Excellent breakfast included in the room rate and a perfect location to the castle. My only minor complaint would be the amount of noise that echoes through the tile floors in the hallways. However, it wasn't a big issue and the hotel is... More

We had a wonderful stay. This is a family-run business with a delicious breakfast and very friendly staff. The internet was good. They even helped us with parking. The owner was very kind and spoke English very well. The rooms were clean and updated. The location is perfect. I would highly recommend staying here, especially to Americans who are looking...
