I visited Ferrara first time in august, 2013, as a master student. I was 10 days there with a scholarship and we stayed in that amazing hotel. We were impressed by the beauty of the building, the yard is big and very green, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the atmosphere is taking you back to the renaissance Italinan... More

Well, it wasn't actually in 2013 I stayed over, it was one year before. However, I don't find anything spectacular about it, it seems like the simplicity of the Gesuati remained in the hotel! Very basic, food was ok, nothing fabulous, room was clean and spacious (for three people, we had a mezzanine of some sort). Just nothing bad to... More

The building, courtyard and garden are charming. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and large. No more can be added on the positive side: furniture is dull, as the service, as the breakfast food. The hall and dining room smell of barrack food. If you stay at night and spend the wandering in splendid renaissance Ferrara, you may not care... More

My relatives stayed here and as they do not have a computer I am doing the review for them, also because I have often recommended this hotel to my visitors. Poor value, they have stayed in agriturismi that cost less and offered more. The staff were not a bit friendly. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is adequate

The building is an old convent and it's really beautiful. There's a private parking and the rooms are brand new and the rooms are quite cheap. These are the only positive things I can say. The rooms are sad with ugly, no character, newish furniture, the beds short and unconfortable, the place smells like "hospital food" and breakfast is plastic-wrapped... More
