Euro and family were perfect hosts. Euro picked us up at the train station and drove us to his family compound, where he and some of his relatives live in a peaceful oasis. The rooms are large, with lots of light, some may even think there is too much light, as LED type strands of light wrap around bed headboards...

Three weeks in Italy and this was by far the most wonderful experience we had at any accommodations. The warm and friendly service was complimented by the clean and modern accommodations. This is a family run business and I can stress how everyone went out of their way to be friendly and give recommendations on sites and restaurants. We needed...

One of Italy's greatest charms is the side-by-side coexistence of the ancient and modern, and Alchimia offers an excellent example: a lovely 15th-century building that provides every 21st-century comfort. My three priorities for B&B accommodations are good bed, good shower, and good breakfast, and Alchimia shines in each of those respects. In addition, the beautiful garden provides a peaceful retreat...

The renovations at Alchimia are among the best I have seen in Europe. The exterior of the lovely 15-th century house has been preserved, while inside the rooms are modern and spacious, with tasteful contemporary decor. The location near the castle and duomo is excellent. Free secure parking behind the house was also a terrific feature. Breakfast was generous and...

Euro (The owner) and his team managed to fulfill the Ultimate ALCHEMIST dream - they turned the place into pure Gold!! When you read the reviews for Alchimia B&B you might think that they are all too good to be true - but after six Nights and Breakfasts me and my wife can well state that EVERYTHING is absolutely true...

We stayed three nights in this fantastic B&B in the wonderful town of Ferarra during the 2016 Ferragosto weekend. This B&B scores a top rating on multiple items: - Location: it is perfectly located close to the city centre and the many places of interest. The Este castello is just down the road at an easy 5 to 10 minutes...

For our first visit to Ferrara we selected Alchimia for our family because it is across the street from a lovely park, offers free bikes to use to access the city, and has a small private garden in back for kids to play. The location is close to the city centre, easily accessed by foot or bike. Upon arrival we...

We stayed here for 4 nights, originally to see the Palio that they have in Ferrara each year. The room was immaculate - it all seemed brand new, and the little touches; lemonade in the garden, the friendly service from everyone, could not be beaten. Nothing was too much trouble, they found out times of trains and buses and made...
