We stayed at Aquila for 7 nights, and we're completely satisfied with the hotel. It is located right at the top of the central street in town. There is a great ski rental shop just outside the hotel which gives 10% discount to hotel guests, and has excellent ski equipment. Apparently helmets are the thing to rent, and I would...

This place is perfect for AV1 Trekkers arriving by the Cortina Express from Venice. It is a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. The staff bent over backwards for us, especially Michaela and his brother, Antonio. They held our luggage for free for 7 days while hiking. They printed out our return Cortina Express. They advised us to eat across...

We enjoyed everything about Hotel Aquila. From the moment of our arrival, the staff was always helpful and attentive. Our room was large, clean, warm, and welcoming. The public areas are large and attractively maintained, including a very nice lounge/bar area with windows for watching the pedestrian activity on Cortina's main street. The ski boot and ski facilities were convenient,...

I Recently had a very enjoyable stay at this family run hotel and, don’t tell anyone, but it is a bit of a bargain; definitely, value for money. The hotel looked as though it was recently refurbished and was very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of wardrobe / cupboard space....

We stayed here for 5 nights earlier this month and felt at home during our entire stay. The two brothers who work there, Antonio and Michaele, were so helpful in providing directions and recommendations around town. The hotel was centrally located, very clean, and offered complimentary wifi, breakfast, and parking. The bathrooms were spacious and seemed recently renovated. I highly...

Made our stay at Cortina d'Ampezzo even more enjoyable. The hotel is vegan friendly: when we told the staff that we’re vegans, they prepared fresh salad for breakfast, especially for us, and helped us find vegan dishes in nearby restaurants.
