On Friday 8 January 2021, my husband and visited Cortina in Veneto. This was my first visit. The town was beautiful. Unfortunately our car broke down that night and we had to find accommdation for the night. This was not a good time due to the Corono Virus restrictions. We had nothing with us either as were not intending to stay overnight. My husband had stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and remembered it, making the suggestion. We paid €80 for the night. The room was comfortable and hotel very neat and clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly except for one very arrogant, uncompassionate old man at reception. The morning we checked out, we had to call several mechanics to try get help. They could only assist us after lunch time. We then booked a bus back to Venice and and another one to Jesolo, where we are from, which would depart at 5:30pm. So we had about 4,5 hours to wait. Sadly during all this my husband phone battery was running low and my phone had already died the night before. We needed the phone to show our tickets for the tranfser to Venice. So we went back to the hotel to find out if we could sit quietly in their lobby, buy a coffee from their vending machine and charge our phone. There was no one in reception and we waited 5 minutes for someone to come to reception. We thought maybe they were off duty. So my husband put the phone cable he bought earlier in the plug. Then this old grumpy man came into reception. He told us we could not charge our phone here. He would not listen to anything we had to say. He told us to leave. He would not even allow us to sit there and have a coffee. It was -10 degrees Celcius outside. So we had to sit on a beach of Audi which had a USB charge point in the cold for an hour to charge the phone as no restaurants or shops were open. It is a shame as all the other staff, including the lovely lady with blonde hair at reception and gentle with blue headband were super friendly. I can understand hotel policies as I worked in them for many years, but under our unusual circumstances I found this old man shocklingly uncompassionate. He clearly does not know the meaning of kindness. To all the other staff thank you for making our stay comfortable. Just a tip having working in 5 star hotels around the world, Guest always remember how you made them feel not what services you have on offer. The old man should not be in reception at all as he has no customer service at all and this is what I will remember of your hotel unfortunately.

We had a room with a balcony which is very nice when you want to catch some rays away from the crowd. A good size room with private showed, toilet and bidet, which we like. Very Covid 19 AWARE but what we liked most is the environment conscious in the hotel. Bins to separate waste and soap dispensers. The safety awarenes is of high standard. In short highly recommended.

A great family run hotel in the center of Cortina, just across Basilica. And on a walking distance from the ski bus that takes you to the slopes for free. Comfortable, spotlessly clean rooms and renovated bathrooms with rain shower, very enjoyable. Delicious breakfast, really good coffee from the espresso machine and above all homemade crostata made by our charming hostess. Beside the unbeatable location, biggest value of this hotel are the people. The owners and the staff always helpfull and friendly. Better value for money would be hard to find in Cortina. We have already booked our next visit:)

Stayed for the first time in Montana, wanted to change accommodation after a couple of previous stays in another hotel in Cortina. To be honest, I decided based on recommendations in TripAdvisor forum. Again, the members were right! Hotel Montana is perfect little family managed hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff, spotlessly clean rooms, good breakfast and fantastic location. It has everything that you need for ski vacation including ski storage room with facility for boots heating. There is a possibility to reserve parking as well, since it is very difficult to find parking in Cortina center. But once you park a car, you will not need it,since ski bus station is only 50 m walking distance and Faloria gondola is 150m from hotel. If you want fuss free ski vacation in Cortina and do not want to spend thousands of euros on accommodation, there is no better hotel, period! Recommended.

A very casual, quiet, centrally located Hotel. Picture perfect for this cozy Italian Alps town. They serve a very European style Breakfast which is included. Beautiful rooms and each with its own balcony. I visited because my Grandparents came from this town. 2 1/2 hr bus ride from Venice Mestre Station. Oh yes, as the title says they have a soda vending machine that has a German beer available for 2 euros...not bad. One thing. The Catholic Church is located right across the street and they ring the bells all day at specific times. I thought it was perfect.
