We have several times stayed over nights in the shared rooms while climbing and trekking in the region. The meals are really nice, traditionally with a pasta for starter and meat for main course, and a dessert. There were at least 5 or 6 options to choose from. You will most probably need to share rooms during high season, and...

We walked up here from the car park, a stunning walk through the woods on good paths and then a road. Last bit on stony tracks right under the Cinque Torre. Heart stopping views at the top. What a place to stop for a drink!

What a choice of local specialities! Polenta, various meat...and pasta! I took the one with aubergine souce, topped with local cheese - amazing flavours combination! But skip the salads - they're fine but seem a bit a waste of time when the choice of other dishes is so good;)

We stayed here while hiking the Alta Via 1 . The location is beautiful. We had a great room for 4 with a stunning view of the Cinque Torre. The staff was very friendly and accommdating. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The wifi reliable, and the laundry facility the best we encountered on the 10 day hike. Overall-...

We arrived here when it was storming outside and we didn't have any reservation. Although rifugios were quite new for us since we mostly sleep in tents, this one is probably the best in the whole Dolomites. The food was superb(something we would never expect in this kind of accomodation), the staff was very friendly, rooms and showers were very...

Despite this being a hot and busy day the restaurant staff were welcoming and gave us good seats in the restaurant area on the deck. There is a full menu, and the vegetarian platter is really good - fresh, varied and generous. Fantastic views across to the Cinque Torre.

On a visit to see Cinque Torri we had lunch here. The setting has the wow factor for sure but the food was a little disappointing. We had been to several other Rifugio and the food was some of the best we had overall in our trip to Italy however, this one not as good.

Rifugio (boarding possibility) Scoiattoli is well located close to Cinque Torri. The views are great on good weather and it has large terrace. The food and service (terrace) are medicore. The pricing is reasonable despite the limited menu.

Not to be confused with the restaurant of the same name in Cortina. Very nice and courteous staff, Large rooms, #3 has a great view. Nice basic dinner choices and a very light continental breakfast. Just below the largest of the Cinque Torres. comfortable beds and bedding.
