We booked a triple room here and given other accommodation we had (on the TMB, for example) we had low expectations. But we were surprised to find a really clean room (bunk beds), hot showers (extra-clean) and everything we could ask for in a mountain...More
Food is not their best item. All was ok, but the schnitzel was rare on the inside! We went back to the people behind the bar and all they could say was "cant be helped". Nothing was offered, no excuses made. What great service...

Wow. The setting is superb. The most beautiful view I've seen in the alps from a restaurant. Add to that the fact that food here is pure joy. Good vegetarian food can be hard to find in Italy but Scoiattoli's vegetarian platter is the bomb!...More

The rooms I have visited have 4 to 10 beds. The rooms are designed only for sleep, and you need to be OK with sharing the bit crammed space with others. However, given the surroundings, who would want to sit in the room any way. The 4 bed rooms had access to the second floor balcony with the astonishing view, so you should definitely try to get these rooms.
There are 3 bathrooms in the corridor, shared between all rooms. You should try to be in time to avoid a queue to the bathroom before dinner time. At low season you can usually use the bathroom without waiting.
