On arrival at the Park Hotel Victoria which we had booked with Inghams, we noticed a sign saying there was an outbreak of Norovirus in the RESORT! Although slightly concerning we carried on like "sacrificial lambs". Unbeknownst to us norovirus had been in this hotel for at least 2 weeks before we arrived!!! Obviously not a resort problem! Most of...

We arrived at this lovely looking hotel in a great area. As previous comments the problems was the Norovirus Illness that was prevalent in the hotel before we got there and during our stay, the thing that bemuses me is the denial by Igams to accept that this was an Igams issue which has promted me to write this, we...

For skiing, the Dolomites is a brilliant, wide quiet slopes, would return to the resort. The hotel built in 1892 full of character, the food served all good and plenty of it. Downside was there was a vicious novovirus bug that inghams were aware of at least a week before we set off but did not inform us either prior...

Thank you 'Nicola B' for your review of your stay at the Chalet Hotel Parc Victoria. Whilst it's great to hear that you enjoyed the resort, the property and the catering provided by the Inghams team during your week, it's of course concerning to note that your stay was impacted by a viral outbreak affecting some of your fellow guests....

Arrived in resort on on 31st of January and was told that there was a norovirus outbreak in the resort, and in response to this Inghams were asking guests to apply surgical hand rub on entering the hotel, reataurant, bar area etc. However, it later transpired that the problem was only in this hotel and had been for a number...

We're sorry to hear that you were ill with a virus during your stay, 'building55'. When contagious viral infections are brought in to a property such as a Chalet Hotel, they can be difficult to eradicate and this does require the full co-operation of both staff and guests. Whilst some aspects could perhaps have been handled better, in the main...

The hotel is a little tired but full of character and has a great location. Unfortunately when we arrived there was already Norovirus in the hotel and Inghams were rather quiet about the extent of the outbreak at first, which was unacceptable. Over the week more people ended up with Norovirus. The cleaning in the hotel was awful, the whole...

Thank you for your review, 'Popskb92'. Unfortunately viruses such as the "winter sickness bug" are incredibly contagious and widespread, being passed easily from person to person. Vulnerability is often increased in places like hotels, schools and offices, and can be more challenging in situations such as on holiday when people are often unwilling to take the necessary precaution of remaining...

We booked this hotel with Inghams (w/c 14th Jan) as we love it and have stayed there before. We love the hotel and the situation. Cortina is pretty with great shopping and we had some fabulous winter hiking and skiing. However winter vomiting virus ruined our trip. Please note the following: 1. Were we informed of the risk to our...

Thank you for your feedback, 'hikinggirl2017', from which we're sorry to note that you contracted a virus following your stay in Cortina. With the best will in the world, incredibly contagious viruses such as the "winter sickness bug" (second only to the common cold in terms of the ease in which it is passed from person to person) can be...

As a beginner who had never skied before Cortina d'Ampezzo was wonderful. The ski school (arranged through Inghams) was fantastic and I had the best time learning a new skill. The hotel was charming and relaxed. I've also never stayed in a chalet hotel but it was good. Some of the staff were excellent, and despite the arrival in the...

We booked this hotel for an early season ski holiday, as we have stayed here before. The hotel is lovely, and we enjoy the chalet hotel system, the evening meals are great and the wine served is always a good quality and plentiful. Stayed here with Inghams on a ski holiday. During the winter months it operates as a chalet hotel. The staff are brilliant and a credit to Inghams, all young, engaging and very helpful. We have just returned from an Inghams Ski Holiday and stayed at the Victoria Parc Hotel in Cortina. Apart from the hotel which has a great history stretching back many years, we really enjoyed the experience. This is the first time I have stopped at a chalet hotel, I believe Inghams take the hotel over for the skiing season and...
