Let Senora Flavia welcome you to old world charms combined with contemporary Comforts in the The Heart of Cortina. Classic hotel for the Traveller who demands the best . The staff does it all... All requests are met with a Gratzie and a Smile..

Cortina d'Ampezzo is a wonderful ski town only 2 hours from the Venice Airport. The Hotel is warm and comfy and very clean. The beds are firm, and the food is terrific. Don't miss some Italian cookies at 4pm in the tea room. The staff are accommodating and speak enough English to make requests easy. Also, the current masseuse, Maria,...

Our family (2 adults 3 older teenagers) stayed at the hotel for 10 days and had a wonderful time, despite the lack of snow. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff very attentive and helpful. Best of all was the evening meal (4 courses) which was served with cheerful aplomb. Main courses were delivered covered by silver domes, which...

A lovely place to stay in the middle of Cortina d‘Ampezzo, the Hotel Ancora featured charming rooms with character. The dining room offered a wonderful breakfast buffet. The owner, Flavia Sartor, was the most delightful hostess. The hotel lobby is filled with antiques and interesting artwork. Situated in the middle of the town, the hotel offered convenience and great hospitality.

This hotel is located right in the center of town and is very convenient for exploring the area. Our large room was paneled in wood with ruffled curtains and closets on both sides of the bed. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It's hard to refuse the pastries. We stayed here two nights on a VBT bicycle tour. Unfortunately, one lady...

We had a small room and balcony. The bathroom was dark and small and had a door to the adjoining room. (You could hear everything!) The shower enclosure required the user to press against the wall to close the door then had you trapped in a tiny space. Breakfast was good although not a huge selection. However, one of our...

Hotel is old, adequate but needs improvements. Curtains need replacing, doors on Armoire would not stay closed, old radio on table, VHS player not a CD player, very out dated for today's visitors. Staff was good but not friendly. Disappointed in my accommodations. Great location and enjoyed my visit to Cortina overall.

The hotel is centrally located in Cortina d'Ampezzo. We really enjoyed our stay. The restaurant does a nice job. There is a bar/night club that is pretty noisy so leaving the windows open is not an option on the front corner of the hotel.

Stayed in this hotel with VBT. Comfortable, big room. Balcony a nice touch although it was too cold to be out there. The tub has a whirlpool but it did not work. Breakfast was good. Nice quaint area to bike, walk and hike. Wifi did not work in room.

Our room was a good size and the bathroom had plenty of counter space. Breakfast was included and there was plenty to eat. We also had one dinner meal here. The food was tasty and well presented. Part of the meal included a dish Cortina is noted for - pasta stuffed with beet roots. Service was very good. This hotel...
