The trip was a disaster. The bed collapsed the first night. That’s right. It completely BROKE. It was pretty scary. It took them an hour to find us another room. The replacement was near the stairs. The wood must be pretty weak because they are always squeaking. Breakfast was included but it didnt match expectations. The selection was small and the eggs cold. Forget about using the pool unless you want to pay extra. Others must have known what I discovered because the hotel was almost empty.

The hotel is overpriced, overrated and understaffed. Occupancy was around 35%. The staff was rude. They never answered the phones. Food was OK. Rooms were blah. I think they could have done better for the price. The Grand Hotel was much nicer and cheaper.

Hotel looks great on the internet. Beautiful location. Gorgeous pictures and landscapes. But the hotel is a disaster. The staff is unfriendly and impatient. You have to pay for everything from the pool to more coffee. The noise is awful, starting in the thin walled rooms to the street. Staff is useless. Don't believe me? Try calling them. They never answer the phone. And in the hotel it is just as bad. They never bring the extra towels you request. They can't fix the broken lamps. Overrated and overpriced.

Booked a New Years eve dinner at their restaurant for 7pm, €800 for 2 persons. We were not seated until 8pm and the food did not arrive until 9pm. The food was either cold, under cooked and the service was horrendous. We had to leave half way through the meal because it was so bad. We tried speaking to management but got zero responses. A disgrace that a hotel of this calibre should act like this!

This hotel is so overrated. They don’t answer the phones. They promise to make you dinner reservations at local restaurants but they never make the call. The spa is understaffed. I asked for extra towels - three times. Never got them. It is definitely not worth the money.

Like a fairytale. Wonderfull hotel with 5star service. Great interior. The most friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights. Great food and wines at the restaurant. Lovely spa. I appreciated the bar and its nice bartender who made us discover new drinks based on our taste.

My husband and I can be a bit particular about where we want to stay when we travel - we pulled up a few of the highly rated hotels in the area and visited at each prior to choosing Rosapetra Spa Resort. We loved the charm and character of the Resort from the get go - the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the room was lovely, quiet and spacious. The views (location, too) remarkable! The restaurant was delicious, and the employees so professional, friendly and helpful. All that in itself would have been enough for us, but we were also gifted with their Spa treatment - UNBELIEVABLE!!! We spent a great deal of time just relaxing after a long day and enjoying the water treatments, sauna, cold bath, showers, just incredible! What a treasure!

During the lock down, when it wasn't possible to go to any restaurant I went with my wife for a week end in this hotel. We had a wonderful experience even if it was a bit limited by the covid rules. The room was a bit small with a very small window, even the I normally cannot accept limited natural light, for the weekend was acceptable and the room all in wood was so confy and sofisticated that it was pleasure to stay. Obviously it was very clean. The restaurant was in a really nice room with natural materials like wood and stone. Food was really particular and good. Service in the restaurant and in the hotel really kind. We will definitely come back.

Revisited Rosapenna after many year's absence Everything was excellent from the staff to the ambiance and the food It was laid back no rush atmosphere which we loved In spite of the Covid situation the hotels coped well and did not overburden guests with over the top regulations The surrounding area is so beautiful and in the late summer sun showed up the Hotel the golf courses at their best Cannot wait to return B B

We enjoyed our stay at Rosapetra. The rooms are small, but the woodwork and details are quite impressive. The resort has parking, which is very convenient. The breakfast was very complete and a definite plus. I found the staff a bit distant, but they were helpful when approached.
