During the lock down, when it wasn't possible to go to any restaurant I went with my wife for a week end in this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience even if it was a bit limited by the covid rules.

The room was a bit small with a very small window, even the I normally cannot accept limited natural light, for the weekend was acceptable and the room all in wood was so confy and sofisticated that it was pleasure to stay. Obviously it was very clean.

The restaurant was in a really nice room with natural materials like wood and stone. Food was really particular and good.

Service in the restaurant and in the hotel really kind.

We will definitely come back.

After many years in Cortina at Savoia this has been the first time we booked at Rosapetra. It’s been a fantastic experience. We have enjoyed being spoiled by the staff. Gabriele and Eleonora are always very dedicated and available to please Customers. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable all in wood. The spa is absolutely top level. The location a bit outside of the town and away from the slopes but the shuttle service always very quickly available to support you if you don’t want to use the car. The garage is spacious and included. We will be back for sure. Thank you Rosapetra.

My husband and I can be a bit particular about where we want to stay when we travel - we pulled up a few of the highly rated hotels in the area and visited at each prior to choosing Rosapetra Spa Resort. We loved the charm and character of the Resort from the get go - the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the room was lovely, quiet and spacious. The views (location, too) remarkable! The restaurant was delicious, and the employees so professional, friendly and helpful. All that in itself would have been enough for us, but we were also gifted with their Spa treatment - UNBELIEVABLE!!! We spent a great deal of time just relaxing after a long day and enjoying the water treatments, sauna, cold bath, showers, just incredible! What a treasure!

We tried to cancel our room 3 months in advance and were informed zero refund would be given per policy. We checked the policy, and shame on us, but who on earth has heard of a zero refund policy. Then we tried to get the room back which we had paid for in full and were told it had been cancelled and nothing can be done (even though we checked online and their was availability). A rip off of the worst sort that would be illegal in most countries. So DON'T book this hotel unless you have an absolute zero chance of needing to change your plans.

Booked a New Years eve dinner at their restaurant for 7pm, €800 for 2 persons. We were not seated until 8pm and the food did not arrive until 9pm. The food was either cold, under cooked and the service was horrendous. We had to leave half way through the meal because it was so bad. We tried speaking to management but got zero responses. A disgrace that a hotel of this calibre should act like this!

We had the most pleasant and comfortable stay at Rosapetra. I don't do many trip advisor reviews, but felt compelled to do one for Rosapetra because our stay was so enjoyable. I completely don't understand the bad reviews from last winter. They are so off the mark that I have to believe they are fake.
The communication prior to our arrival was outstanding, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The helpfulness started before we even checked in. We accidentally pulled in to the wrong parking spot and an extremely kind employee didn't just tell us where to park, he showed us and then proceeded to help with all of our luggage. From top to bottom, this hotel has a customer service focus. I truly cannot say enough positive things.
The views are OUTSTANDING and it is located just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of downtown Cortina.
I cannot recommend Rosapetra more strongly.

Beautiful rustic style rooms, well-appointed. Absolutely unfaultable service in all areas of hotel. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the city centre from early morning to late night. There is a beautiful bar and hotel. Breakfast is included and there is free WiFi. There are amazing picture windows framing the mountains and there are walking tracks around the hotel.

The spa was very relaxing and had lots of different services. There is the option for children to use the pool up to 2pm and there are areas that are child-free, which allows different guests to make use of the facilities.

Hotel looks great on the internet. Beautiful location. Gorgeous pictures and landscapes. But the hotel is a disaster. The staff is unfriendly and impatient. You have to pay for everything from the pool to more coffee. The noise is awful, starting in the thin walled rooms to the street. Staff is useless. Don't believe me? Try calling them. They never answer the phone. And in the hotel it is just as bad. They never bring the extra towels you request. They can't fix the broken lamps. Overrated and overpriced.

The location is in the middle of the meadow, close to a beautiful, easy, cycling path. It is far from other places. The wiew is 3-dimensional. Rooms are wooden and simple, relatively small. Swimming pool is relatively small, does not have jacuzzi, but offers massage beds. The hotel offers shuttle to Cortina.

In Cortina, can we rent mountain bikes, take a tram up the mountain and bike down ?
Answer from Dr.Suchet
Bangkok, Thailand241 contributions156 helpful votes
Yes, you can rent a mountain bike in Cortina, but riding down from the mountain , I am not so sure. In the Cortina area, their is a road up to Tre Cime, I don’t think their is a tram up to Tre Cime.
Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy
Dera Mrs Pirata, thank you for your message. We are open all year round and it's true, May is not the best month to enjoy Cortina, but there is still lot to do. That period is good to relax and enjoy the nature (but remamber that the best hiking are dangerous cause there could be still snow, while bikes are ok). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more informaiton. Best Regards, Rosapetra

Tra 5 e 10 minuti in auto. Lungo la statale del Cadore venendo dal centro di Cortina, l'albergo si trova sulla destra.
