Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for three nights in August 2016. This tiny hotel's food was the highlight - wonderful pastries at breakfast and excellent dinners - although as we ate there every night it would have been nice to have more of a rotating menu. Having coming straight from Pratello Country Resort, the rooms here felt a little... More

We were lucky enough to book out the whole of this beautiful hotel for our wedding where we celebrated with 50 family and friends. STAFF:- were unbelievably helpful with the wedding planning. They put up with 18 months of constant emails and acted as wedding planners co-ordinating the whole event brilliantly. They also went above and beyond for the whole... More

We stayed at Poggio Piglia for the first part of our honeymoon and chose it because it looked beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The long, tree lined driveway up to the hotel was stunning and we were excited about checking in and having some lunch after a 2am start! On check in we inquired about lunch and were... More

We had a wonderful few days here with friends. The hotel is small and intimate without any stuffiness or formality. The rooms and bathrooms were of a good size and the pool area was lovely with a great view. We didn't eat dinner here but the breakfasts and lunches were good. The hotel is well situated for exploring the many... More

We visited Poggio Piglia as part of our friends wedding. Poggio Piglia has the most stunning setting. The hotel itself is beautiful. The service – disgusting. I have never been to a hotel of such "quality" where the guest is of such low priority. Imagine being unable to order a coffee at 11 in the morning, or unable to pick... More

Dear Simon and dear Nina , forunately the bride and the groom are not agree with you . The guest in Poggio Piglia is a priority but all the guests and not just one. After the wedding "the casale " was not at your complete disposal as before . That's why my resident manager told you to behave yourself because... More

Beautiful place in Tuscany, great views and surroundings, exactly what we were looking for. Very friendly service, they even offered us a complimentary glass of prosecco while we were waiting for our table, and the food was really delicious. Would definitely recommend and hopefully go back.

This fabulous 9 bed-roomed boutique hotel proved to be the perfect choice for my daughters wedding. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed, in a splendidly designed ambience. Grounds are so well-tended and a credit to the owners, who live on site. Food is wonderful and is accompanied by a great Sangiovese wine made from grapes grown on the estate.... More

We stayed for 2 nights in June and had a wonderful time. Whilst there we visited Montepulciano,, Pienza, Montelcino and Lake Trasimeno. The pictures of the hotel and grounds do not do it justice. The gardens looked and smelled wonderful, making it a really relaxing stay. The room and bathroom were modern and spacious. The pool area was in a... More

After spending years of my life fantasizing about coming to Tuscany I can't even explain the excitement I felt when we first pulled into Poggio Piglia. However that feeling ended just a few minutes after we entered the door. Not to say the building and property weren't absolutely stunning because honestly this place is gorgeous! But when it comes to... More
