We stayed for 2 nights in June and had a wonderful time. Whilst there we visited Montepulciano,, Pienza, Montelcino and Lake Trasimeno. The pictures of the hotel and grounds do not do it justice. The gardens looked and smelled wonderful, making it a really relaxing stay. The room and bathroom were modern and spacious. The pool area was in a... More

After spending years of my life fantasizing about coming to Tuscany I can't even explain the excitement I felt when we first pulled into Poggio Piglia. However that feeling ended just a few minutes after we entered the door. Not to say the building and property weren't absolutely stunning because honestly this place is gorgeous! But when it comes to... More

Amazing hotel from start to finish. Stunning setting with views over the Tuscan hills from the restaurant, gardens, pool and room (4). Staff were excellent, room was spotless and gorgeous. Food was delicious and surprisingly well priced. A beautiful hotel and a wonderful place to relax

We did not stay at the hotel but read reviews about the restaurant here and decided to give it a try when staying down the road in Chianciano. We did not regret it, the building and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The meal we had was excellent, dining outside on the terrace under the stars surrounded by wonderful Tuscan countryside. We... I cannot say enough good things about this place!! Everything from the moment we drove up the Cypress-lined gravel path to the moment we left was spectacular! The Staff: First, we checked in but had missed their lunch hours. We were absolutely famished and were worried since there really aren't any places to walk to. Fear not! The staff did... More

Beautiful small location, the food was excellent, the staff are friendly and the view is gorgeous, only 9 rooms with two areas to relax and read indoors, nice quiet marble infinity pool with lovely view. We had our one year old here and there were a couple of other small families, but it remained nice and chilled

We have stayed a couple of days with our children in this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is very warm and pleasant, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and most of them have a beautifull view. The property is enormous; the swimming pool is excellent! The staff is very friendly and always prepared to help with information or with whatever... More

Our son and his bride fell in love with this property during a holiday in Europe. As a result they booked the entire Poggio Piglia property for their 3 night extended Tuscan "wedding experience" for accommodating our combined families and the bridal party - all of us travelling from Australia. This was a stunning venue, immaculately styled and maintained -... More

My partner and I fell in love with this place... from the moment we arrived, it was a place we felt relaxed and comfortable. The accommodation and gardens are to an extremely high standard and no expense has been spared. We stayed in a standard room, but were impressed with the quality of furnishings, the sumptuous bed with sheets, over-sized... More

We visited this hotel last year. After spending 1 week in Lake Como, we drove down to Tuscany for 4 nights. The hotel is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. There are only 9 rooms in this hotel so it feels completely private. The manager of the hotel, Paolo, could not have been anymore helpful. The cotbed for our son... More
