It is located in the Gulf of Tigullio, a few kilometers from Portofino, the Cinque Terre and Versilia, in the bustling town of Chiavari (GE), which is renewed every year with events, performances and activities, ideal for beach lovers and tradition. The location is great, and some of the staff is friendly. Check in time took over an hour. Room ok, bed is clean, but Bathroom was a little suspicious. Rooms are not very sound proof, noisy guests disturbed the peace a little.

On arrival we were met by very moody receptionist, although she was relatively helpful we felt like an inconvenience to her. The reception area and communal parts are pretty basic but we expected the rooms to be better to say the least. Unfortunately the big reveal when opening the bedroom door was one of horror not relief. Very old fashion and tired compared to the photos, greasy head prints on the wallpaper above the bed, stained worn out flour, smoked detector taped (which is alarming), stains on the ceiling, furniture that looks like they were about the fall to pieces. The bathroom was next level gross, broken tile perfect to cut your foot open, dirty grout, skanky shower curtain, could barely close the door when sat on the toilets. No glass. How can this be a 3 star hotel? The breakfast experience was stressful ( cramped room with too many people), and the food was barely edible. I can’t believe we were charged £100 for that, it was not even worth the price of an hostel. We are very disappointed that the advert on booking.com was so miss-representative of our stay.

A rather non descript hotel in Chiavari. IF YOU ASK FOR A ROOM WITH A SEA VIEW the place is acceptable. Rooms are tiny,so a view compensates. Furthermore the rooms in the back have the train passing ...The hotel is not expensive and it is right on the water front so I can recommend it for a short stop, certainly not for a long stay. You get what you pay for...

I spent one night there for Easter. Our room was little and we had to let the windows open as there is no AC. Too bad that the train pass just behind the hotel, the noise did not let us relax. But okay this can pass as it is a 2 stars hotel, a cheap one, with a good location. What really bothered me, is that I forgot my Ipod there and they promise me that they will send it to me, I am still waiting for it ! I tried to reach them, they do not respond. Very bad customer service !

Needed some place to sleep over night so it had to do. At €124 for 2 adults and 2 kids it was way to over priced in my opinion when you concider that the room was so small you could hardly move, no AC cooling which made it hard to even breathe and no free parking nor breakfast included. Also, during the night the train would pass by making such a loud noise that you'd almost wake up screaming. We had to sleep with the windows open because of the heat but there was a really bad odour outside too. Cant say much about staff since we didnt have much contact with them but they seemed alright. We survived 1 night here but I'd rather sleep in my car next time. If the room at least had AC then it would have been a little better.
