The four bed room at the Albergo della Torre consists of a kings size bed and two bunk beds. That suited us - two adults and two kids, age 15 and 4 - just fine. The room itself is relatively spacious and clean. Beware of the bathroom though - it's tiny. Very tiny. More corpulent visitors might not be able...

We booked this as a stopover on our way back from Venice to the UK. It is a 1* hotel, so our expectations were low. BUT, this place is really special. It is set above the village and up some super windy roads, it does however have incredible views of the lake and the mountains. Our welcome from the owner/manager...

Very nice basic hotel. Room was clean and a bit on the small size, but as we were only staying here for one night, this was perfectly fine. Bathroom was clean and suitable. View on como lake is superbe. Friendly staff, very helpfully. Breakfest, never a big deal in italia😉, but why one needs to hoover the room in the...

It is only a one star hotel but the restaurant would have rate as a four star. A pretty little hotel with great views over Lake Como. Best viewed from the dining room in their restaurant. We were not aware that our bedroom would be above such a busy restaurant. The windows are double glazed but the sound still comes...

It was one of the good hotels which we found in Cernobbio, the rooms were in good conditions, comfy beds, clean sheets, neat and tidy. The food quality and the wine are the best - as they are made locally and freshly. The only comment would be - is that some rooms got no attached Bathroom which made it a...

Della Torre is mainly a pizzeria and a very good one judging by the full dinning room during my stay. Popular with locals and tourists alike this restaurant in Cernobbio is very accessible from Como by car or public transport, as a hiker I walked from San Giovanni Station-an easy and flat walk along the beautiful lake. The "hotel" part...

We arrived at 9am and only had to wait 15 minutes before our check in. The staff are warm and friendly. The room whilst small was adequate for our 2 night stay. The private bathroom is down the hall which was not a problem for us. About a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town Centre. Would be...

Whenever we pass by Como we make a break overnight in this little hotel - when you do not care going up a small windy road, please consider this place a very special one. Fantastic panorama over the Como Lake (especially from room nr. 10!) and great sea food at the restaurant with a huge window overlooking the lights of...
