This was a delightful place to stay. My wife had fallen over in mud on the walk just out of town and the host helped her out by washing and drying her clothes. Very comfortable bed, great pillows. Bath with shower over. Wonderful breakfast. Had booked dinner for us at only hotel/eatery in town for dinner so that. was great... More

Our group of three couples stayed here while walking the Cotswold way- it is right on the path. Our twin room out the back was quiet and comfortable with a great heated towel rack Rooms upstairs were a little noisier as you could hear people moving around but no traffic noise. We had a good dinner at the Mount Inn... More

My son and I stayed at Shenberrow Hill for one night while hiking on the Cotswold Way. The Way goes right past the property, so it's very convenient, and there's a top-notch restaurant, The Mount Inn, a short walk away. The village itself is pristine. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, and the accommodation (in the annexe, not the... More

This is an excellent B&B. We were hiking the Cotswold Way, arrived a bit early and were presented with a welcome beer. Very comfortable and a great breakfast. Top notch. It is right beside the route of the Cotswold Way, so no extra walking required if you are biking. The nearby Mount Inn had great beers and cider, but my... More

We were pretty tired after our first full day on the Cotswold Way, and being unable to find the Shenbarrow Hill House didn't help. (No sign particularly visible, and difficult to reach the hostess.) However, once we were there, we loved the capacious room and especially the enormous, atmospheric bathroom with its graceful tub and country view under the eaves.... More

Our twin en suite room included tea & biscuits; lots of closet space, hot bubble bath, plush warmed towels & even a glass enclosed ante room. I loved the wheeled vent ... something I'd never seen. Angela, our energetic landlady, had made advanced dinner reservations, took our soaking wet clothes to launder, offered the use of an extra umbrella, and... More

This was our first overnight stay when walking the Cotswold Way and we got a very warm welcome. Dinner was booked for us at the local inn (only meal option in the village). Accommodation with ensuite was just great, very comfortable. We were the only guests that night and has a most enjoyable breakfast to set us up for the... More

My partner and I walked the Cotswold Way in June and overnighted at Shenberrow Hill. What a treat! We had a spacious and beautifully decorated upstairs bedroom, crisp sheets and great towels. I soaked in the stand-alone bath (just as the picture shows in the management photos) with a cup of tea, after a long day on my feet. Angela... More

On arrival at this absolutely beautiful Cotswold village, we were given a warm welcome by Angela (with Pip ambling alongside her!). Spacious family room for the 2 of us and large bathroom. Angela very helpful with local knowledge and advice. Her breakfasts were tasty and a good choice. We were only booked in for 2 nights and enjoyed our short... More

We stayed here as we were walking the Cotswold Way and we wanted somewhere with a pub close by that we could walk to for our evening meal. We had 2 rooms as there were 4 of us and we all had a very comfortable night's stay, and a delicious breakfast the next day. There was everything you could wish... More
