We would definitely recommend this place. We had a 3 bedroom villa/appartment (only booked 2 bedrooms so were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was) with 2 bathrooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The owners were extremely welcoming and gave us fresh tomatoes and eggs. The only down sides were the mosquitos (impossible to sit out in the evening) and the dogs barking but I think they were not the owner's dogs, which were very quiet and well-behaved. It was a very easy 5 minute walk to the boat embarkation point for Venice and the islands.

Great place - it is like an apartment. Fridge, oven, microwave. Great value at 100 Euros for Venice!. We even had a washing machine (but no dryer - took a while to dry in the winter). Note - you must take the ferry to get to Venice, about 45 minute ride. Then jump on another boat to get around Venice itself. It is about 5 minutes from the ferry stop - very convenient. The drawback is spending about 2 hrs of the day just getting to Venice. If you take the 5.1 boat from the train station, get off at Lido (last stop) then switch to the ferry (#14). The owners were extremely nice - had a bottle of wine and a cake for us when we arrived. They also gave us some marmalade (jelly). Very clean and new looking. I bet this is even better in warmer months when you can enjoy being near the water. I highly recommend this place. Nice and quiet, so you can get away from Venice once you had your fill for the day. I am sure staying in Venice would be 2-3X the cost for a lot less in quality. There is a small diner at the Ferry stop - but if it is closed, your out of luck. Make sure to get what you need while they are open or eat in Venice. Note the owners do not speak english, one does a little. We got by, so it was not a problem.

Very well maintained and equipped, this Agriturismo self catering is 5 mins walk from the ferries to Venice and its various islands. A 30 min boat ride and you are in Venice. The drive to get to it is a long one but when you look at its location you'll see why. (not suitable for anyone without a car - you'd take an age to get there from the airport by public transport). The people who run it are very nice and helpful with good English. The accommodation was very clean on arrival. It isn't especially cosy - there are no comfy chairs. But then, you're going to be spending most of the day in/around Venice and there are always the outside table/chairs for the warm evenings. We were there in September and it was a perfect temperature - but there is a/c for when it gets hot in summer. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Comfortable self catering which is so very close to the ferry terminal for Venice (via the Lido) Air con worked fine and the place was spotless. Nothing at all to worry about really. The beach is exquisite (not crowded, great sand, fab water. Catering provision is basic (the cooker is fine); cheap pots n pans etc. not a cook's kitchen really, and could do with a sofa, but otherwise great. Secure, quiet, helpful owners (providing you can get by with Italian alone) and reasonably private. 'private garden' is pushing it a bit as its a sandpit really, but you are on a sand spit adjacent to Venice... where they grow nice produce. Wifi was fine
