We first visited Podere Patrignone back in 2011 and spent 3 wonderful weeks there exploring the beautiful Tuscan scenery and enjoying the amazing hospitality of Simon & Verity. We enjoyed it so much that we vowed there and then that one day we would return. Well the opportunity presented itself this year and we spent another wonderful week in early... More

Let’s start with the conclusion: It doesn’t get any better if you are looking for a genuine Tuscan working Agriturismo located in a tranquil setting amidst ancient olive trees, green-striped vineyards and forested rolling hills in the lovely Chianti area. Add to that a heartfelt, warm and very personal welcome that extends throughout your stay and makes you feel more... More

Staying with Simon and Verity at Podere Patrignone was one of the highlights to my recent trip to Italy. Not only is the location beautiful, nothing beats sunning at the pool looking over onto olive trees and vineyards, but the hospitality is top notch. Simon and Verity go up and beyond to give the ultimate Tuscan experience- inclusive of two... More

My brother and I stayed in Il Caminetto the first week of September 2015. This place was amazing. Simon greeted us immediately and made us feel comfortable and provided us with cheese, prosciutto, homemade bread, coffee and a bottle of wine from the honesty bar that we were free to fill as needed and gave us some tips for the... Our family stayed in the main villa for 11 days at the beginning of August. We rented 6 of the 7 bedrooms for our wide-ranging group (a baby, 2 eight-year olds, a teen, 2 in their 20's, 2 in their 30's , 2 in their 40's and the grandparents!) The house proved to be so comfortable and accommodating for all.... More

What a wonderful find! We have had a fantastic, memorable family holiday. Nine of us stayed in true Tuscan accommodation and a what a fabulous setting. Simon and Verity made us feel very welcome, gave lots of helpful advice. Verity did a very professional cookery class for the girls and the boys came to eat the fruits of our labours!... More

We were invited along with family to stay for an 8 day period. Simon and Verity (with their family) were amazing from the moment we got there. It is a place where the kids can play and the family atmosphere is next to none. The owners were always available for directions and tips on where to go. Great scenery and... More

This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I've stayed in all my life. It sits right in the middle of an olive grove and the views go on forever and are spectacular. We stayed in an apartment on the property just above the old pressing room. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting room and a very... More

We gambled by booking Il Caminetto at Podere Patrignone for the last week of April and the first week of May— very early in the season. The Caminetto had two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and each bedroom had a lovely view over the farm, the woods, and the hills. We saw gorgeous sunsets and developed a ritual of... More

We stayed here 6 nights, and there is a lot to say about Patrignone and why it merits 5 stars. But what stands out is that it so perfectly complements and even honors the Tuscan wine country and what makes it one of the great travel destinations in all the world. Patrignone is beautiful -- each morning we ate breakfast... More
