We could not have had a more prefect stay at Patrignone. Our hosts Simon and Verity were warm and welcoming and the accomodation was just gorgeous. There are grounds to explore and their lovely dogs make great guides through the woods!. We have fallen in love with this spot and can't wait to go back again.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. We enjoyed your company too, and look forward to your return. Come back when you're sick of the British summer!

What a spot to stay whilst in Italy. This working olive farm is a very historic place to stay and is kept up very nicely. We stayed in a cottage of what use to be the old kitchen facilities (I believe) and it was a very quaint place to nestle in. The room with the huge olive press was a...

Podere Patrignone is one of my favourite places to visit. The view is simply wonderful as is everything else. Simon and verity are very friendly and helpful. The pool is so close and very relaxing. It is the most perfect place to go on holiday. (Clara Bing, 10)

Wow, this could be our very first review from a 10-year-old! Thank you very much Clara (and mum Fern) for your lovely review. My boys are very much looking forward to playing with you when you come to visit us again this summer. In fact, they talk of very little else!

Shireen and I revisited Patrignone 2 years after we got married there as part of our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Staying back in La Tinea brought back all the memories of the special fortnight we'd spent here for our wedding but this time we could really relax! Simon and Verity were as amazing as usual and we toasted...

Three generations all together in the main house - plenty of space in clean comfortable rooms and a huge kitchen table for communal meals. Extensive terrace and beautiful grounds lead down to a good-sized swimming pool with magnificent views over to San Gimignano in the distance. Well located for visiting Tuscan villages and towns, as well as wineries and local...

Dear N, thank you very much for bringing your family out to Podere Patrignone. It was a pleasure meeting you all, and having you as 'neighbours' for the week. And you;re right, it's pretty much essential to have a car. Some people manage to get by without, using drivers for their daily trips, but this can work out to be...

I've been to Patrignone twice now, and the second time brought a retreat group of ~10 women for a week. The entire property is charming and thoughtfully kept, the rooms are comfortable and peaceful, the large private property is beautiful with gorgeous views near and far. An evening with champagne, looking out over the valley as the sun sets and...

We spent ten glorious days in the Tanaia cottage of Podere Patrignone. Beautiful rooms, fully appointed, with an extraordinary view of the olive groves on the hill. Simon and Verity are perfect hosts with concern for guests' comfort, always helpful but never intrusive. Verity's dinner event was delightful and the local wine and olive oil, delicious. We easily drove all...

Dear L, thank you for your lovely review! We do try to be as helpful as possible, but our guests' privacy is a paramount concern for us, so you'll only ever see us when you need us. A bit like Nanny McPhee. I do hope you'll both come and join us again one day soon. There's so much more to...

We stayed at Podere Patrignone in the summer of 2016 and had the most magnificent vacation, which we will never forget! Podere Patrignone is in the heart of Chianti and is perfectly situated as a "home base" for day trips to the many lovely hill towns. We visited San Gimignano, Castellina, Sienna, Volterra, Radda and Colle Val d'Elsa and each...

Spectacular setting in the vinyards and olive groves up on a hill. Lovely people own it, and have created a remarkable experience that we savored. We stayed in a room with a fireplace, hung by the pool, and drank wine. Arrived to a fresh loaf of bread, cheese, and bottle of local wine that was replinished from the barrel daily....
