This property has 4 different sized cottages overlooking wine country in the Chianti Region. It was run by a family who lives in a separate building on site and is most accommodating if needed. The cottages are fully furnished along with a pool and a beautiful view. No need to bring a bunch of clothes. There is a washing machine on site and a clothes drying rack. Bring some laundry pods with you and you're set for the week. This is in a great location to use as a home base while you drive around the region. They also make their own olive oil which is fantastic. I will definitely return here and may one day rent the whole property with family and friends. It is very affordable and a place not to miss.

Our party of three spent three nights in Masseto and wished it would have been longer. The hosts are awesome and very helpful and the lodgings are great. Very spacious accommodations and great location. The restaurant just down the road a couple hundred meters has great food and service. The views are spectacular from the rooms and the pool is very clean and well maintained (a nice break after a long hot day of touring the Tuscan Countryside). Possibly the only negative was the beds were quite hard (although some like them that way). I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return.

We had car problems nearby to Masseto in Chianti and Filippo stopped to help, bringing water, caring, and Italian interpretation to our rescue! 2 hours from his day for strangers in need! The Best!!!! Although we were not staying at his agraturismo, we will be staying there next year with our whole family. True Italian hospitality and caring. We can't wait to meet his whole family! Thank you again Filippo- we would have never made it without you!

Masseto in Chianta was truly a dream come true place to stay on our visit to Tuscany. Paola and Fillipo are so warm, welcoming and helpful. Their beautiful home and cottages/apartments are charming and kept perfectly clean and comfortable. Views over the rolling hills beautiful to see each day. They made it easy to do a bit of laundry and we loved their gorgeous pool for relaxing time. We are a family of 4 and our two teen girls were wowed the moment we drove onto the property. We enjoyed 5 days here and exploring some of the surrounding villages. This was part of a 2 week family trip to Italy and this was truly the Heart of our family trip. Thank you Paola and Filipo!

Peaceful, picturesque, perfectly located.....just do yourself a favour and stay there! As two couples we absolutely adored our stay in the Cappero Cottage in early September for 5 nights. Booking and communication was easy via email with Paola. Check in was relaxed and someone always available on the property to answer questions. Due to some poor planning on our part, the property was more difficult to find then we had anticipated, so ensure you have the correct coordinates and maps before hitting the road. Cappero was very large and well equipped with two generous bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, lounge area and a sort of sitting/in-between room too. Loved Cappero, it had a fantastic view overlooking the valley, vineyard and olive trees. There is a washing room available for use for free, with powders etc. A gorgeous swimming pool - beautiful & peaceful place to chill out. Osteria La Piazza is a short walk from the property (400m?) - open for lunch and dinner - incredible food. I felt comfortable walking in a group of 4 at night to and from the restaurant to the Cottage, but possibly wouldn't have on my own. Would highly recommend also going to dinner at Il Ristoro di Lamole - it's worth the *interesting* drive and has the most incredible sunset views! Book a table for outside!! Masseto is a very beautiful place with great views of several olive and wine vineyards. The apartments are very spacious, clean and all the essentials you need to prepare your own meals if you desire. This is our first trip to Italy and Masseto in Chanti is how I pictured Italy to be.

We had an excellent stay at Masseto. The view you have on the mountains is so beatiful. We stayed in the appartment Vittoria with our 2 children and our dog Perla. We had a lot space, the kitchen was very well equiped ( very important if you like to cook sometimes) , All we needed was there. The hosting family are such a nice and warm people. You feel at home immediately. The family produces their own wine and olive oil. We took some wine and oil at home. So we can enjoy a bit longer our holiday! We go back . No doubt about it.

We have stayed at Masseto several times. It is a unique agriturisimo located in the heart of the Chianti Region of Italy. Masseto is about midway between Florence and Siena. The apartments are spacious and decorated in a country style. Each unit has some private space. There is an excellent pool. Television is limited, but there is plenty to do in the area to keep you busy. There is a 4-star restaurant very close by (within walking distance). The property is situated on a hillside with a vista of vineyards and olive groves. The owner is very personable and accommodating. Many guests and families come back again and again!

This beautiful Agricola was one of the first around in Chianti. With 4 apartments it has enough space to enjoy peace and quiet but there is always room for a good chat and a glass of wine. In the middle of Florence and Siena it could not be better.

This was our third trip to Masseto and we spent a very enjoyable week with friends in this charming and friendly family owned agriturismo. We were given a warm welcome by Paola and her family, who are delightful and helpful hosts. The apartments are spacious and very comfortable and very well located within easy driving distance of Sienna, Florence and San Gimignano and other Chianti highlights. However it would be easy to spend a few days relaxing by the swimming pool and venturing no further than the local villages and restaurants. Be sure to try the Auber wine. I am sure we will return.
