To get to this quiet place you will need to drive for 2.5km in a dirt road. If you drive a rented car then no wonder (you don't care) if (like me) you drive your personal car then drive slowly, and after your stay head to the nearest car wash :-) After this little introduction you will stay at a...

Spent four nights here in April and loved every moment of it. Relaxing and peaceful setting and the hosts were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and I would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I spent 3 fantastic nights at Villa di Capovento. The home and the surrounding area are truly beautiful. Our room was large and decorated very nicely. We enjoyed the fresh air and views from our windows. Breakfast each morning was terrific and after eating supper there the first night we decided we wouldn't find anywhere that served...

Stayed here for three nights. It's a real place for retreat. Loved the pool area and the functioning airconditioning which is important when visiting Tuscany in the summer. Loved that the place is a 10-15min drive to two excellent wineries - Terrabiancia and Brancaia. Also Tuscans typically eat sweet breakfast so appreciated that they served fresh homemade yoghurt and the...

We had a great long weekend at Villa di Capovento. We enjoyed the beautiful and scenic drive to the house and were welcomed by the hosts Stella and Ettore. We had the "romantic room" which was very pretty and traditional. The grounds around the house were great and the pool looked serene and would have loved to have taken a...

If you want a real Tuscan experience, this is the place to stay. Stella and Ettore are the perfect hosts at this charming and beautiful B&B. The rooms are furnished with antiques and are immaculate. There is no need to have dinner anywhere else, as the food is absolutely fresh and fabulous (as is breakfast)! Our two night stay was...

We chose to stay here, as it situated close to Siena. The villa is charming and we were given a room with a terrace, with amazing views across the hills. The owners were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Ettore's cooking is fantastic - both breakfast and dinner were first class. We very rarely stay at the...

A beautiful setting with great hosts. The first thing that struck us was how quiet the area was. So peaceful! Central to many sites in Tuscany, Stella and Etteros? (Spelling?) were very knowledgable about the area and able to provide great advice. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the home cooked meals were fantastic. We really enjoyed our...
