I wouldnt visit here again in truth there are too many tiny niggles that annoyed us on our visit. Gripe 1 The beach is not really a beach, its 50 metres of sand if that then its all shingle. When we visited it was shut and there was no sunbeds around. Gripe 2 When we visited the pool was also shut great. Gripe 3 The location is very remote, no supermarket in walking distance 20 euros by taxi is the nearest 12 euros will be on the meter before you get in. Number 4 The spa and jacuzzi are lush if you dont mind paying the extra fees Number 5 Some about 85 percent of the hotel staff are brilliant the other 15 percent are ignorant as hell. Positives its 30mins from the airport The food is 5 star The views from hotel are amazing

Towers hotel is situated right on the stunning bay of Naples. We had a transfer already arranged from the airport via our airline, so the drive from there to the airport was stress-free. The hotel itself is stunning. It has the most exquisite view of Mount Vesuvius across the bay, and all the facilities you could hope for to make your stay worthwhile. We didn’t really use the private beach because we prefer swimming pools in general anyway, but it’s certainly an option for those who prefer to swim in the sea. The pool itself was such a lovely peaceful area and we never had to worry about being able to get a sun bed, even during peak season in August. The sun beds are such good quality, and free towels are provided by the lifeguard as soon as you walk up. The staff are happy to take drinks/food orders and bring them to you while you’re relaxing by the pool, so there’s no need to keep going back and forth. Occasionally, they also played music by the pool, which gave the area a beach bar vibe. If this is something you don’t like the sound of though, they don’t have music playing all the time because they know not everyone wants it. The restaurant was really nice, with the friendliest and most attentive staff both at breakfast and dinner. At night, the view from the patio across the bay was sublime. But for us the bar was the pinnacle of our stay. The bartenders were so friendly and we loved going for a drink before/after dinner each night to take in the view and just relax. There were two evenings with a disco while we were there, and they were both so enjoyable. We LOVED having the opportunity to get dressed up and have a great evening!! If anything, we would have loved for there to have been more evenings like that. The room was air conditioned and had everything we needed. We had a side sea view but it was way more than we ever could have hoped for. A quick walk onto our balcony had us looking out at Mount Vesuvius. Housekeeping were very thorough and it meant that the room always felt clean and comfortable. We saw a lot of reviews saying that the hotel is too isolated and it is, to a certain extent, but I would definitely recommend not letting that put you off staying here. The hotel provides a shuttle bus from the hotel to the local town of Vico Equense, which is no more than a 5 minute drive. The driver was always friendly, and even though we had to pay €2 per way it was worth it to be able to see the local town and get access to the train station there to visit places like Sorrento, Pompei and Naples. You get dropped off literally outside of the train station, so there’s no difficulty trying to find your way around. We did find that the gap between shuttle buses from 6pm and 9pm was sometimes a bit of an issue but rather than waiting we just got a taxi. If you call the hotel reception, they are more than happy to help organise a taxi on your behalf and the fare came to €15. The hotel does have excursions available, but we decided to keep things affordable by travelling to places using the public transport. Pompei is around a 15 minute train ride from Vico Equense. Sorrento is about the same in the opposite direction. Naples is a bit further. We visited Capri by getting the train from Vico Equense to Sorrento, walking 7 minutes to the marina, and then taking the 30 minute ferry across to the island. To visit Amalfi and Positano, we actually booked an excursion through the company at Sorrento train station, who were amazing and highly recommended!! We will certainly be coming back to this hotel. Absolutely no doubt about it. We didn’t want to leave :(

The purpose of this trip was to see areas of Italy that were on my 'Bucket List' The location of this hotel is perfect in every way. It's located on the Sorrento Coast therefore fortunate to enjoy the peace, tranquillity and beauty of the beach. I chose a sea view room which was glorious to wake up to. My room was functionable and simply decorated. I indulged in glorious showers during my stay as well as deep slumbers in the comfort of the massive bed and puffy pillows. Treating myself to a couple of treatments from the Spa (on the hotel site) was a must. I chose to have a full body and face massage on one day, then I squeezed in another treatment just before I left - Reflexology (which sent me to sleep it was soooo relaxing) The Spa staff were fantastic, professional, pleasant and helpful and if a member spoke little if any English, they would refer me to a colleague to ensure my query was acknowledged. The Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus were quite minimal and basic. If stopping here for more than 4-5 days, you may want to visit some restaurants outside of the vicinity for increased variety. The staff were great, friendly and courteous. The location is perfect. A shuttle service is available by the hotel for 2 euros each way into the local town. This stops right outside of the train station (which is one main line Circumvesvusia) which again for very cheap fares can take you to Sorrento, Pompeii, Napoli etc very easy and convenient to use. Around this area there's plenty of breath-taking sites to bless your eyes, kiss your soul and add to your memory box and the hotel have excursions you can book. Let me get to the reception staff who were absolutely great!!! Daniella and Carmen especially as they looked after me commendably as a solo traveller. I thought I had packed the correct plug adapter only to find my 2 pins were a little wider than required for the plug. How was I supposed to charge my phone? Pics, Google maps, Insta, WhatsApp etc?????? Well, these lovely, kind and caring ladies helped me by charging my phone for me daily until I learned a day before my departure that I could use the USB and charge it through the TV lol!!! They also wrote down a few suggestions for me to explore and do, provided me with clear and concise instructions regardless of the numerous times I asked them over and over again ...lol, very polite and approachable they added a sprinkle of extra joy to my holiday. I would stay here again if ever I require another short break. Overall, I had a fantastic trip, I felt safe, and it was value for money. Thankyou Towers Hotel for having me!!!!! Sherina Brown

Nice rooms, lovely bathroom but if you are not very nimble you might have a problem getting into the shower/bath. Very clean rooms and fresh towels every day. The restaurant is ok but nothing special and quite a limited menu. The hotel has a small bar area with limited seating and unfortunately no atmosphere. There are no other bars nearby so you need to go further afield . There is a bus which you need to book at reception that goes to Vito equense railway station. The bus is two euros per person each way and runs hourly. You can phone the hotel to book on it for your return. The last bus back to hotel is at 10:15pm if you don’t get that it is 20 euros back to the hotel in a taxi. The trains run on time and it’s 5 stops to Sorrento. The hotel seemed to be geared to corporate events and weddings. Would not return here as it was out of the way and the bar was expensive.

This is a great hotel but it’s quite remote. Views are incredible, swimming pool is amazing, rooms are fairly large with everything you need, and staff are pleasant and helpful. Complimentary breakfast is good with the usual fare of sweets, scrambled eggs, cheeses, meats, yogurt etc. We had a late lunch in the dining room which was very good. It was a bit confusing with the reception area in one building and the rooms in another building. The bar was great with relaxing places to sit and enjoy the spectacular view or a sunset. Unfortunately, the hotel is pretty isolated. When we asked about a shuttle to Sorrento we were told there’s a shuttle to the train station, then take a train. A taxi would be about $80 one way. No one explained the shuttle ($2) takes you to a cute little close by town.

3 stars as it wasnt awful but wouldn't stay again. We were dropped off the coach by Jet 2 in a long dark tunnel. We had to ask where to go. We walked to the end and it opened up into the main area. The views accross the bay of Naples were stunning i have to admit. The building does look a bit strange but it used to be a cement factory that was converted into hotel 20 years ago. The rooms were fine but they don't really have anywhere for clothes if you are staying a week or two. You get two coathangers each (there were 6 of us and had three rooms and all were the same). There is very little in the way of drawers so you live out of your case. All the rooms we struggled to find electric sockets that worked but eventually we found a socket in each room that worked. Apart from that the rooms were ok. They were clean etc. The bath does have a high step to get into the shower so some people may find this difficult. On the first night we arrived late and so we ate in the restaurant. Have to say it was very poor food and the service wasn't great either. I have never seen waiters and waitresses with such miserable moody faces. The area is famous for lemons and they really had faces like they had been sucking them. They seemed the same at breakfast. None of the staff seemed happy. You could smile at them when you go down for breakfast and they would just keep a straight face and look right through you. It seemed think they thought their jobs were beneath them and they didn't want to do it. If you were Italian then they would go and get their speciality coffees etc but otherwise you got your own from the vending machine. It was hard work in reception too if you wanted something. When you walked into reception you would often see three people sat there. The staff used to look down and avoid eye contact and act as though they hadn't seen you or in the guy receptionists case he would see you there, make eye contact and then walk away. You had to stand right in front of them and interrupt them to get any attention. I had to ask one of them if she was actually working as i stood right in front of here and she would not look up. This hotel has weddings and conferences there and i get the distinct impression thats all they want to do. All in all though it saves money in the long run as we always tip for good service at then end of the holiday. As there wasn't any good service there were no tips. Im not rewarding poor customer service. The pool area looks nice and can be ok to relax there if they don't have a wedding or fubction in the neighboring building. We stayed by the pool a few times and it was only on the last day someone came and asked us if we wanted a drink. We were surprised and we had already been to get our own as hadnt seen sight of anyone doing this all week. The shuttle bus service is something we relied on heavily but its not great as you need to book your return ticket at the same time so when you are travelling further by train your conscious about getting back for the last shuttle bus at 22.15. There is also a two hour break in the afternoon and the evening. If you are getting trains elsewhere make sure you allow plenty of time as we got on a train at 9.40 thatwas supposed to leave Sorrento at 9.45 and this would have got us to Vico Equense in time for the shuttle. We were still sat on the stationary train at 10.05 so realising we wouldn't have caught our connecting shuttle we had to get a taxi from Sorrento to the hotel. We checked the drivers and they all quoted the same. It was €88 to the hotel from Sorrento. Vico Equense is the nearest town. There isnt a normal bus service past the hotel along the coast road from the hotel and in Vico Equense you are very unlikely to see a taxi unless its passing through on its way too or from Sorrento with its passengers. There are some scenic areas in Vico Equense but its not geared to tourism. Maybe we were unlucky but we didn't find a decent restaurant there. The restaurants didnt have any idea either. 6 of us could all order and they would bring one persons veg or fries then another persons main course then you wouldn't get anything else for a good while. You had to remind them the rest of you were waiting. All in all in restaurants around the area in general i didn't find the Italians to be any good at customer service. There are so many other places in europe that put them to shame. There was however one restaurant called il Convivo in Sorrento and the service and food here was great so we ate there a few times. Some places around the old part of Sorrento have a better atmosphere too. I still gave three stars as the hotel was just somewhere to sleep and shower so it was adequate for that and when you realise the staff don't want to talk to you then you just don't bother with them so it doesnt spoil anything. You just book the shuttle bus and go out all day sightseeing. The only time it may affect you is if you stayed in the hotel more than we did. Went to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Pompeii, Herculaneum. So much to see so you're not in the hotels that much. The location of the hotel isnt great as you rely on the shuttle bus so heavily as the restaurant food is poor and on holiday you want more flexibility. You would be better off being closer to Sorrento itself.

Our family of 9 were all contented and extremely satisfied with the whole experience. Staff were very friendly and polite. We visited Positano Amalfi and Ravello, it was so crowded and a lot of traffic. We were so glad we stayed in Tower Hotel over the accommodations in Amalfi Coast. The view of Mt Vesuvius, air from the Gulf of Naples, sunsets/sunrise, open grounds, clean facilities and rooms, amazing staff, delicious pizza, variety breakfast buffet, what more can I say? Everything was just perfect! Thank you to all the staff for their hard work! Highly highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the Towers hotel for a long weekend at the beginning of September. We chose the hotel because of its location between Naples and Sorrento and it’s stunning views. We weren’t disappointed. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a full sea view room which overlooked Vesuvius! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There is free wi-fi available, you need to request the code from reception, and a TV though the only English speaking channel was the news :) It would be helpful to have some more information in the rooms like restaurant times, shuttle times etc. We arrived early but our room was already ready so we were able to check in, change and head straight to the pool. The pool is a perfect size, there were plenty of sun loungers and free towels are provided. The breakfast offers a good variety of options from cereals to fruit and eggs as well as a range of pastries and cakes! We ate at the hotel restaurant twice during our stay and found the food fresh and tasty. Plenty of options to choose from for a weekend trip and daily specials available. We didn’t have the pizza but these looked amazing, cooked in an authentic pizza oven. We also visited the Blu Stone restaurant during our trip which is situated just up the road from the hotel. The road is busy but there is a pavement to walk along. The location is stunning and the food was presented beautifully, we were also given free amouse-bouche which were delicious. However, the price of the food did make our eyes water! The hotel shuttle bus operates throughout the day and takes you to the local train station. From here you can easily get to both Pompeii and Sorrento both of which are definitely worth a visit. We had a wonderful time, would visit again and definitely recommend a stay.

the hotel location is ideal for people who want to use the either ways through the Amalfi and Napoli salerno going further up to Rome and the rest of italy north. The main concern is the traffic intensity no matter when. Reception staff is very welcoming and ready to help...going to the rooms large clean with good bathroom . very rich breakfast and interesting restaurant inside. Information about spa and indoor pool must be emphasized at the moment the guest arrive importantly hours of activity closing time etc. My 5 is backed up withe these mentioned facts
