Nice hotel - staff pleasant helpful. Style is traditional and room little dated but ok. There is no pool. Resort not good. Promonade being redeveloped and was a building site - nowhere near complete. The resort was scruffy with many shops, bars etc closed. The nearer the port you were the more dirty and derelict the buildings and streets. Only... More

Stayed here one night on a tour. Hotel lacked modern amenities. Top floor restaurant was nice with a great view of Mt. Vesuvius. One of the elevators was not working. The Air Conditioning in the room was poor as well. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. The area was a bit rough around the edges. The free wifi... More

Me and my husband stayed here for a week at the end of June beginning of July, it was a beautiful hotel and lovely staff the views from the terrace where amazing, it was in a very good position to get a train to Pompeii soronto and many more places, breakfast was good but the beach was a little untidy... We stayed in this hotel during a Trafalgar tour. I really liked this hotel. It was an older hotel, but it had a lot of character. We stayed in a twin room with two twin beds. There was a small writing desk and an wardrobe, and a small bathroom. The rooms were not large, but were sufficient. The rooms were... More

Stayed here for a week early January with my family. Location in Castellammare is good, with all of the tourist spots easily reached via local train. The town is a bit rough round the edges, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants around, and the place really comes alive in the evenings when the locals come out to eat,... More

This hotel was picked by our tour group. We had toured Positrano and the Amalfi coast and then found our huge bus stuck in narrow streets in an old section of the city. Seems there was a procession that blocked traffic. So we got out and marched to the hotel. Small lobby inside and not much fluency in English amongst... More

The hotel is located in a very run down area , fantastic sea view from the restaurants as long as you do not look at the beach which is full of rubbish and fenced off , nice reception areas. The room we checked in to over looked a very busy and noisy road . The room was clean but very... More

The hotel was somewhat old and was a little misleading on the food served at breakfast. No bacon or anything interesting. However, being served …….. while overlooking the bay was quite nice…. Even if the bay has some aesthetic improvements desperately needed. The rooms were nice however, nothing to boast over. Spacious, quiet. Would have preferred a sea view but... More

This was not my favorite hotel. I was in Italy on at 10 day tour with a group of 50 or so. This was the second hotel we stayed in on the trip. It is in a small town that is in the middle of nowhere....although it is right on the water. I can't say that rooms weren't clean....everything seemed... More
