Spent three nights with my wife and baby daughter there. Rooms may not be the most up-to-date but are very clean and and in no way shabby. Even the rooms facing the (busy) street are quiet. Breakfast was tasty and the restaurant next door can be recommended. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful and forthcoming. When we had... More

I have visited this hotel in May 2015. I stayed for two days and I can say that this hotel is very old, furniture is pretty old. My shower and my colleagues shower were not functioning very well. The Internet connection is slow and sometimes stops working. On the positive note I can say that The personnel and the price... More

I was there for one week - professional duties. Wi-Fi didn't work properly, laundry was not convenient, walls were very thin. My room, 133, was more like a camping-cottage room with accordion-style doors for the shower and the bathroom. The location of the hotel, however, was good. 5-min walk to the city centre and at the skirts of Montecassino Abbey.... More

At Hotel Alba we had a very comfortable, but very small room with a good bed, good water pressure and (just) adequate bathroom lighting. Breakfast was sparse. Despite being promoted otherwise, the WiFi only works in the lobby There's easy parking at the door. Easy access to the mountain road up to the Abbey. And we delighted with the lovely... More

Booked via booking.com. It was only 75 Euro per night for 2 including breakfast. We had Room 214 see the limited view, it was clean with large comfy bed and on suite bathroom. Free parking was under the hotel. Overall the hotel could do with a refurb but was satisfactory for an overnight stay. We enjoyed a reasonable buffet continental... More

Our stay in Casino was enhanced by the advice we got from the hotel staff. There is much to see in this town and that hotel is conveniently located to see it all. This family owned hotel is well staffed and a good base of operation for driving up to MonteCasino and seeing the Abby and the memorials.

We stayed here for one night at the end of August this year. This was the second time we had us ed this hotel as a stopping off place between Naples and Rome and between Rome and the Gargano Penisula. It's in a great position for visiting Montecassino and has a very good ambience. The first time we just turned... More

Hotel Alba makes a great base for a visit to Montecassino; in fact, we had splendid views of the Abbey from our rooms! Not a fancy hotel, but very comfortable, with a very pleasant staff. We ate at their restaurant, which looked iffy at first but was good.

Just one night in town, we booked the most expensive rooms (street side, noise was not a problem due to new windows) and slept really well. These rooms have been recently renovated, bed a bit hard but comfortable. The decoration of the room is done with good taste, looks like a four or five star hotel. Free wi-fi connection but... More

The Hotel Alba is well organised, efficient and superbly located for all the locations that were included in the battlefield tour programme that I was running. They were highly flexible on bookings and responded brilliantly to last minute changes. The rooms were large and all had air-conditioning. The rooms facing the main street has wonderful balconies and superb views of... More
