This B&B is wonderful. Its located on a small street close to restaurants, shops and the park. The decor is really charming. Most of all, the ladies who host this property are lovely. They are so welcoming, accomodating and helpful. They really do go above and beyond to treat you like part of their family. Ira was very helpful by being my translator during a problem at the parking garage.Since neither the attendant or I spoke the same language, I called her for help and she came to the garage and resolved the problem right away. The grounds and room are clean and fresh. The smell of jasmine makes the courtyard a perfect place to sit and have drinks before dinner. The breakfast was good, both sweet & savory and eggs if you request them. I loved the bath toiletries included and the hair dryer was great. Be sure to pack light, as with most European accomodations there is no elevator and carrying your suitcase up the stairs is a must. Staying here was one of the best parts of the trip. A wonderful way to experience a traditional old Italian town with few tourists. Most everyone spoke English so no worries. Walk up to the park, relax with a drink and people watch. We used this location as home base for a few days and then drove to other places like Pompeii.…
We stayed here based upon the ratings and I'm glad we did. Firstly, Ira is wonderful!! She made that stay even that more enjoyable. The room was large and the bathroom was very roomy. We used this as a base to drive to the ruins and to Naples. We also drove to Salerno (only a 1 hr drive) and took the Ferry to Positano for the day. Breakfast was excellent!! One bit of advice, if you arrive by car DO NOT take a ticket at the car park. Park outside the gate and go to the front desk to pay for parking. Also, Caserta is full of nice restaurants. But if you're from the US, be ready for 8:00pm dinners. I also think the price for our room.breakfast was extremely reasonable!
Cas e Charming House exceeded our expectations. Location was ideal, rooms were spotless. You can tell Ira takes great care and pride in maintaining a clean, functional rental property. For breakfast we were attentively waited upon and the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Ira was easy to contact using WhatsAPp and responded quickly to any questions we had. The place is truly “charming” as that is the perfect adjective to describe Ira and her “cas e charming house”. Thank you for such a delightful experience.
Excellent place. Staff is very nice and polite. Rooms are clean and elegant with top quality Simmons mattress; bath vanity set are supplied with Ortigia body lotions and shower soaps . Breakfast is rich and tasty. Very good position close to the Reggia of Caserta. Much more then a B&B
Gracious hosts who welcome you at this charmingly decorated B & B. It is Clean, comfortable and serves a Bountiful breakfast. Located in a quiet neighborhood, just a 10 min walk from the train station, and an 8 min walk to the Royal Palace of Caserta. We stayed in Room 3 and would happily stay here again.
Nestled on a side street between the palace and the upscale area, best of both worlds. Totally met our expectations. The owner and staff went out of their way to make our stay special as I was looking for some connection to my grandparents birthplace. Even took us on a tour to areas we didn’t know about.
We had a lovely room with a bath. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. Charming House is in the heart of the town and there are plenty of shops and bars and restaurants within walking distance of this property. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Would highly recommend this property.
Beautiful, quiet hotel located downtown. The room was bright and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast is excellent. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. This is a great option if you are looking to stay in Caserta.
Definitely a delightful find!! Our room is on the first floor. It was spaciously and comfortable. It has a small fridge stocked with water and sodas, a tea kettle and coffee maker. The bathroom was roomy and charming. Everything was very nicely thought out to meet every comfort. There is also a beautiful sitting area. Rita was wonderful and took care of all our needs. She even provided us a delicious breakfast much earlier than the regular time. Also, she took us to the parking garage about 10 mins walk from her place. The garage is on the square and was 10 euros a day.
Excellent location near the pretty and upmarket historic centre of Caserta. Very good small B&B, with all that you need . Comfortable bed and bath facilities. Not the cheapest but ok value if you prefer a B&B rather than a full facility hotel. Only negative for us was that the sound proofing could be better - the door to the room is directly on to the outside and of course you hear more noise than you might if there were an internal corridor. Overall would recommend.
