Hotel Maregolf is a modern 4-star hotel situated in Caorle Lido Altanea beach resort. It stands in a quiet area just 150 mt from the beach, deep in the nature and with a beautiful garden with view over the golf court. It is a perfect hotel for families with children, equipped with swimming pool for adults and kids, wide solarium with comfortable sunbeds and sun umbrellas, garden with playground, bar looking at the pool, restaurant and breakfast room. Rooms have all the facilities needed by families: they are modern furnished and full of comforts like air conditioned, mini fridge, TV sat, hairdryer and balcony with view over the sea or the golf court. New in 2013 is the massage center, a further service for who wants to enrich the holiday with moments of relax.

Perfect hotel for a family vacation. Big pool, sandy beach with reserved places at 200m and animation for kids, but without overdoing it. The small amusement park nearby is a welcome plus. The hotel has Golf in the name and a course next to it, but I didn't spot any golfer. It's much more "mare" than "golf".
The rooms are functional and clean. Most importantly they were designed for convenience: they are quiet, the A/C is also quiet, the toilet can be used without waking up partners, etc... And there are rooms with connecting doors.
The food is buffet style, which is good for kids, and very reasonable quality. After a week it becomes a bit repetitive, especially if you take full board.
There's plenty of friendly staff everywhere, so you never get to wait for anything. Compared to similar places in Spain it's very pleasant that there are no hidden costs. Towels, beach loungers, sunshades, all is included.
The location is a bit remote. There are good bus connections to Caorle (don't miss!), which is also cyclable distance (there are bicycle lanes everywhere). Venice is a bit less convenient to get to: bus plus boat or 2h bus. It's the North of Italy, so doesn't get as hot as further south.
There's a big car park (5 euros a day) with one charging station (was always available) by the hotel.
The resort of Lido Altanea has a supermarket 100m from the hotel, a small mall 400m away and a tourist train for easy commuting. It's all owned by a single company, Lampo.
One suggestion for the owner: replace your valuables' safes with a key (20 euro deposit) with code locks. What's the point of a safe if I then have a key to bring to the beach or deposit at the reception?

I was with my 4 year old son and for him at lunch and dinner I found everything and more, the menu was well studied, then the kitchen was very available for some variations, a very important thing that is often underestimated in the hotels I frequented. Located just 100m from the beach. The reception was friendly as were the rest of the staff. Everything is clean and the breakfast buffet offers everything to make the holiday day an excellent start. For the booked room category an excellent price/performance ratio. Small shortcoming: the room was a bit small and few closets.

Great for families with kids that enjoy time at the sea or pool.
The beach is super nice, it is very close. You have your umbrella w/ sun seat included from the hotel.

My family and I (wife and 6 year old child) today ended a wonderful week's holiday at the Maregolf hotel. I found the utmost kindness, availability and friendliness from all the staff including the cleaners. Spacious, clean and tidy room. Exquisite food with a wide choice at all meals. Nice, clean, modern hotel, equiped with modern furniture and flat TV. We had Ideal room which headed to the pool. Hotel is well equiped for kids, there are many lifts to make easy traveling with strollers. Swimming polls are ok, safe, surrounded by sunbeds exactly as every parent wants. From hotel its very close to golf course, where you get significant discount (its a walking distance). So far so good, but there are few points to mention:
Breakfast - perhaps the weakest point, bread and cereals are hard to eat (not healthy, not realy a wide choice), so you have to live on eggs and italian nugeta
Dinners - little bit better but still under avarage, usualy you try everything and find out that 1 food was ok
Sea - hotel is not on the beach, you have to go 200-300m? to the beach which makes this little bit different especially with small kids (pack, unpack etc.)
Mosquitos - whole area is quite rich for insects, so take your repelent, you will need it
Garages - hotel has underground garage but its so narrow that its better to park outside (with bigger SUV you will not fit in)

Very nice hotel close to beach in a quiet area of Caorle and next to golf course.
Hotel is new, clean with pleasant staff and perfectly working appliances. No issues with A/C, bathroom, wifi, everything works well.
Nice swiming pool with children area which was very enjoyed by our kids. Breakfast and dinner was buffet style with satisfying selection of food. Nothing really special, but acceptable for one week vacation. Everyday evening animation program was also enjoyed by children.
I would reccomend this hotel to any family with kids, the value for money is great. I wouldn't reccomend it to any young couples or people who want to enjoy evenings in bars and parties, you wouldn't find anything like this close to the hotel.
The golf course is 18 hole quite easy course with wide fairways and nice visibility.
My wife loved massage in the hotel which was provided by professional massage lady.

Great hotel! Meticulously clean rooms & premises. Superb buffet breakfasts & dinners with many food options. Rooms are very quiet & wifi is free. Pool is wonderful. Great place for families with many kid-centered activities. Free secure storage for bikes. Highly recommend.
