This is a realy nice Hotel in Canazei, located right in the middle of the village. The rooms are spacious, but breakfast was better at other hotels, everything is perfect clean, people are very friendly and helpful. We would book it again.

We tried to book this hotel for a group of us. I emailed the hotel and received a one-liner back saying they were full. I asked them why they were showing availability online and due to a weather alert they were busy, which is understandable and no issue there. They came back with an offer and our group changed dates and as with anything group booking people drop off or add on. In our case it meant that we added on two rooms which equalled to approx. 1850€ in revenue for them. The reservation agent got a little bit short in his emails at this stage and emailed me the final confirmation letter. The dates, number of rooms and bed preference (it said twin-beds instead of double beds) were wrong on 5 out of the 6 rooms. Again, no issue there he rectified this duly. Last minute I requested 1 room to be shortened by 2 days from the original itinerary and the response I received said "I decline your reservation request. No rooms available" while there are still rooms available online, entirely dishonest answer. I asked for an explanation as to why he is refusing the reservation and their answer was " your reservation request has benn CANCELLED due to continuos changing without communication." Apparently he decided to forget that the first communication error was on his side when there were no rooms available but on second thought there were. The second communication error was where he emailed me a confirmation letter stating incorrect dates, room types and number of rooms. If this is the service before you arrive, I can only imagine what the service must be when you have arrived. I can only imagine that it is unfriendly, dishonest and uninterested. Blaming guests for not properly communicating when you request a change via email but at the same time forgetting the communication errors they have made.

Dear Mr. De Vries Stephan, I was expecting a bad fedback like this: petty way to do as usual. I just want to explain what happened (I have everything printed) but one thing must be clear: when you send a request in an hotel on the Dolomites, you are contacting a family and talking about this family home. We are not a group and I'm not an employee but the owner and this is my house (I live here with my family) and I require respect and education. I don't care about the revenue: I only want similng guests when they arrive and when they leave my house! One more thing: we had a very bad wheather condition trought the October's end and starting Novenber with one and half day without elecrticity and three days without internet connection. Obviously our system was out of order and I worked with a smartphone using my memory as the only way to check the availability. You were informed about the situation! Facts: 31-10: request for 6 guests from 27.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 and 2 guests from 25.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 - no rooms mentioned 01-11: changing in 7 guests (4 rooms) from 27.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 and 2 guests (1 room) from 04.03.2019 I answer that this wasn't possible. You wrote back that online we had availability (not true because online are possible only Sunday or Monday arrivals - 27.02 is a Wednesday!) 03-11: I asked you information about your request 'cause I already have a reservation with the same surname of yours Answering me the rooms you requested for where changed one more time: 5 rooms (numeber of persons unknown) from 27.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 and 1 double from 25.02.2019 to 04.03.2019. Despite the situation I made an offer with half board. You asked for bed & breakfast and I made a new offer. 04-11: finally you decide to book: 5 rooms (10 guests???) from 27.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 and 1 room (2 guests???) from 25.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 and I made a prepay request (some mistakes in it are made). 05-11: You wrote me back asking for corrections that I immediatly made. In the evening a new situation (the fourth!): the double room from 25.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 is now a single room from 27.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 because no flights were available. Is it a joke? I decided to decline the full request due to the continuos variations made without asking (communicate and ask for a change is very different). Your answer was that you already sent the prepay! (obviously it wasn't true because two emails later you wrote that the bank transfer will be made the day after). Miracoulously the last room changed will be back at the original situation: a double room from 25.02.2019 to 04.03.2019 due to my terrible service!!! Are you kidding me one more time? I think that, after 5 reservation request change done without asking if it was possible or not during 6 days were too much. I think I had to cancel. I am sure that if the reservation was confirmed within february the situation will be changed many more times and I can't accept this way to do. You wrote this is absurd... I agree! Obviously you made a very bad review on Tripadvisor, on Google and, I think, many more websites: good job! I really hope your party will find a very good hotel where you can do all what you want! we stayed here for 5 nights. the hotel is in a very good location, clean rooms and bathrooms. we had a room in the back ,so it was very quiet with a great view. there is a good spa with indoor swimming pool. most of the people that stayed here were older, that came for a longer period on a full board basis.we had only breakfast, which was good with a lot of choices. the things that were missing: no hangers in the bathroom to hang your towels, no kettle for coffee and most of the staff spoke only italian,

Conveniently located just off the main road. The ski lift, Fly Ski shuttle bus stop and Marmolada ski school are all 5 minute walk (a bit longer if you're in ski boots). The bus stop for regional routes (e.g. Trento, Bolzano) is just round the corner, and a Co-op supermarket is across the road. Some minor peeves include a lack of fridge/minibar in the room and hooks to hang your towels on in the bathroom. The towels are changed daily despite an eco-warning and request to put the towels you wish to be changed in the bidet. There's no kettle in the room but you can ask for hot water from a nice lady in the bar downstairs - I've seen some guests taking to the room whole thermos flasks (provided by the lady in the bar). The hotel restaurant, which serves a decent (by 3 star plus standards) breakfast a bit heavy on pastry and too light on cheese, is highly recommended for dinner. To our regret, we only discovered it on the last night. It's run by the same chef as the adjacent fancy restaurant El Cianton, which means you get treated to a gourmet three course meal plus cold and hot buffet - all for a mere €18. The dining room may lack the 'authentic' atmosphere of nearby wine bars, caves and caverns but the superb food and reasonable price certainly make up for it. I'll definitely stay here again if we return to Canazei.

Nice rooms, good service and cleaning of the room. Location near city and to the lift station. After a day in the slopes nice to use the pool and jacuzzi and relaxing department. The restaurant has very good breskfast and dinner.
