Detailed Reviews
What a wonderful, wonderful place to stay. Lovely hotel all round, lovely friendly staff and owners. Excellent food for both breakfast and dinner and excellent service all round. We are so glad that we chose this hotel for our stay in the Bressanone region. There is a convenient bus just down the road for trips to the Plose mountain and the town of Bressanone with convenient connections to other towns and valleys. Looking forward to staying again!

This was our first visit here, room was spacious and smelled great! Breakfast was delicious with a large selection of cereals, meats, and cheeses. If you like nature and beautiful views then eat outdoors for lunch and dinner. There is also a paragliding field 10 minutes away in a car. If you are in Bressanone then then this is a great place to stay!

Came here with my wife and her Italian family for a week and have to say it was one of the most enjoyable holidays I've had. The location is beautiful. The drive up the long, snaking road offers some wonderful scenery. The hotel itself is a nice size. What I would call cozy in size. Room was spacious, with cracking views of the mountains opposite.
Breakfast was fresh and a good selection-I work nights so was a nice change for me! Evening meal offered a good selection each time.
Staff were friendly and knowledgeable too.
Looking forward to another visit, whenever it may be!!

This hotel is located on the East side of the valley, above Bressanone in Italy. Breathtaking views from the rooms and the outdoor pool area. The Restaurant has a very large outdoor deck. We stayed in a suite with one bedroom and very spacious main area and good size balcony. We paid for full board so we had dinner included in the deal. When we went to the dinning area, we were seated at a table that had our family name printed on a card. The table was by the window, but we were looking forward to seating outside under the canopy covered deck. We saw there were free tables there so we asked to be moved. The head waitress, in a very "German" tone, said absolutely not, that we should have requested a table outdoors when we checked in. We explained that we were never offered that choice, and that it was one of the reasons we chose to eat at the Hotel, was to seat outside on the deck. There was no way they would budge, saying the tables outside were all reserved. During our entire dinner, we saw at least three tables not being used nor having a card on with someone's name like we did on ours. We insisted by asking the same thing to each server that came around, but no one would budge. One of the servers, finally gave in and at least let us have our dessert and coffee outside. It was very frustrating and felt treated like a child stuck inside, looking out the window not allow to "go out and play".
Earlier that afternoon, we were by the outdoor pool, gorgeous area with an amazing view. We wanted to have a drink and a sandwich since we had missed lunch driving from Bavaria. There was a very conveniently located intercom in the garden by the pool. We pressed the button, but no one answered. We decided to go in to the bar, which is quite a ways and a floor down. They said they don't make sandwiches, only drinks. This was mid afternoon at the end of June, the beginning of the peak summer season, no idea why they had no service on the pool nor why the bar intercom was not answered. We stayed at this hotel back in April, and we did get a couple of sandwiches made and brought to us to the pool area with a bottle of Prosecco. It looks like there was much better service off season than in the middle of the summer. The Bar and Restaurant management, seem to put their employees under a lot of stress forcing them to follow this very strict, unreasonable and inflexible rules.
The front desk attendant was great to us, she fixed and issue we had with our booking and payment very promptly and conveniently. To the point of not charging us anything at the point of check out until she figured it out. I received an email a day or two later letting me know that they were charging my credit card with the proper amount as they had figured out the mistake.

I stayed here for one night in my travels but was really impressed by the design and wood cabin interior. I had a recently rebuilt room that was filled with spa shower, heated floors and a great balcony. Their restaurant had a fixed menu but was delicious. I highly recommend this for couples and families alike.

We stayed for a week and it was so difficult to leave this lovely place. We occupied two standard rooms in the main building and they were quite small and standard to be honest but we hardly spent any time in the room anyways. The family that runs the hotel is very friendly, always with a smile on their faces and we appreciated the tips they gave us on where to go hiking. One day when it was pouring with rain I took the mountain kart down the local mountain and my trousers were so dirty. They offered to wash them without me even asking and the next day I had them back cleaned and ironed.
The setting of the hotel is simply marvelous and the outdoor pool, though very cold in the mornings, is fantastic. You can order drinks to have by the sun loungers too. The service is that of a very good hotel chain but the special touches of a family-run hotel still always shine through. There are no restaurants/shops anywhere near so we booked this including breakfast and dinner. The food was of very good quality and they clearly have a good chef but I wished they had more local, South Tyrolean cuisine on offer. In 7 days we only had a South Tyrolean specialty once. I would love to return to this place.

Good location for exploring this region (about a 15 minute drive away from the main highway). Lovely views from the room (too floor in old section), though it was a bit small and dated, so I recommend requesting one in the newly renovated part of the property. Did not partake in dinner here, but the breakfast was very well done (cappuccino, eggs, bacon, made to order).

classic Tiroler hotel with a typical house and a nicely renovated part of the hotel, too The service is perfect and personalized. The dinner in halfboard is gastronomic and the wine card is a discovery trip.
Only 5 minutes from the ski resort by car or skibus.
The sauna/wellness/indoor swimming pool are the ideal alternative if the wheather is lousy.

It's rare to find everything so beautiful, refined and cordial.
A loverly hotel in a beautiful location, in the midst of nowhere but within easy reach of anything and everything you would wish to see or do.
